2025 NBA Draft scouting report: RJ Luis, G/F, St. John's - Yahoo:

RJ Luis Jr. is a 6'7" wing prospect with a strong, well-rounded game, known for his versatility and defensive intensity. He excels at attacking the basket, driving through contact, and finishing with either power or finesse. While his shooting needs improvement, his defensive prowess and rebounding ability make him an intriguing NBA prospect with potential as a 3-and-D player or a score-first sixth man.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He needs to work a lot on his shot for that to be the case.

The book on his offense is that he is a chucker, but his defense should play in the NBA.

Unless you just mean an undrafted guy who makes it.  Possibly, but I am glad he is on a two-year 2-way deal, because he needs multiple seasons in Maine I think.

Yes, I mean it in the more general sense.  His profile is more like Hugo Gonzalez than Hauser at this point.  Maybe both Gonzalez and Luis make it and we can tag them Huey and Louie and work on finding a Dewey.
