The Championship games are always 3 and 630.  At least for as long as I can remember.  They do move the AFC and NFC around.  Last year the Chiefs/Bills were 630 and the Eagles/Commanders were 3.  Some of it depends on who the host team is, but this year they are both western teams so the premier game is the Seahaws/Rams.  If the Bills had beaten the Broncos I don't think it would have changed the time because you'd have an Eastern team and a Western team hosting so it makes way more sense for the Eastern team to play at 3 (local time) and the Western team to play at 330 (local time)

Start times used to be 12:30pm and 4pm until the early 2000s. Think the first Pats-Steelers was the last 12:30pm start.

Championship games are on a rotation.  In years where the AFC team will be the Super Bowl ?home? team, the AFC title game gets the 3pm start and the NFC game gets the 6:30pm start then vice versa the years the NFC team will be the Super Bowl ?home? team. The geography doesn?t matter.

Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games as an alternate, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reported Monday.

After starting the season on the bench, Sanders slowly moved up the depth chart during the regular season. He was elevated into the No. 2 spot following the team?s trade of Joe Flacco, and then eventually became its starter after fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel sustained a concussion.

Sanders, 23, started seven games with the Browns, completing 56.6% of his passes for seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The Browns went 3-4 in his starts. By the more advanced metrics, Sanders rated as one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL, ranking 42nd out of 43 quarterbacks, per PFF.

Combination of all the other QBs being banged up and Maye going to the SB. Still funny

Kind of like Mac Jones in his rookie season.

Yeah, they literally took the first AFC QB to say yes.

Does anyone actually watch the Pro Bowl?  I guess since it was written above "Pro Bowl Games" I must not really know wha they do these days for Pro Bowl.  Whatever it is, I wonder how many watch.

I definitely don't. I think it's more for people to go attend and watch live, I doubt many people actually sit down on their couch and think "oh boy the Pro Bowl is on, I need to tune in ASAP!"

The ratings will look high regardless because every hotel, gym and bar has ESPN on at least one of their TVs in the background

Shadeur in the Pro Bowl is obviously ridiculous, but I'm sure a lot of guys said no.  That said, the Browns were 3-4 in his 7 starts and 2-8 in the other 10 starts between Flacco and Gabriel.  So there is at least some solid evidence they were a better team with him than without him.

The Bills promoted Brady to head coach.  I'm not sure that I agree with that.  If they wanted a new voice I would have gone outside of the building.

Idk but what options were even left. Even Rivers and McDaniels basically took their name out of the running for the job.

I think Harbaugh should have waited and then taken the job, but maybe he liked the Giants and their situation (and market) way more?

Tomlin seems to be taking a year off in general. Flores is staying with the Vikings. I guess they could have waited a bit for the Seahawks and Rams' assistants but maybe they didn't want to wait longer.

If they didn't like the market, they should haven't fired their successful head coach.  I'm not sure that Brady will bring any added value as a HC, rather than an OC.

I don't disagree. I mean I'd argue the Browns also made a bad decision, because literally no one wants their HC job now lol. Probably better off keeping Stefanski. And is Hafley much of an improvement over Mike McDaniels? Miami's issue is still Tua, that contract and the roster.

It's why I prefer the Steelers approach, assuming that there's no clear evidence that a team is tuning a coach out.  I think that too often teams fire coaches after a down year or two, when that coach has proven to be good at his job.

Of course, if you have a crappy head coach that the players hate (Eberflus with the Bears, for instance) or that is in over his head (Jared Mayo), it's time to move on.  But if you coach has gotten you into position multiple times but just hasn't gotten over the hump (Sean McDermott, previously Andy Reid) I say stick with him.

Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

In voting earlier this month, Belichick fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame during his first year of eligibility, four sources with firsthand knowledge of the outcome told ESPN. Belichick received a call from a Hall representative last Friday afternoon with the news that he won't be inducted into the Hall in Canton, Ohio, this summer.
