Caleb Williams had one of the most spectacular TD passes I?ve ever seen. 3 INTs were a killer, though.
My friend (not a Bears fan) has hated Caleb Williams since his USC days, and even he was in awe of that run and throw.
That great play definitely loses some of its luster without the corresponding victory, but still one of the great moments in recent playoff memory.
That catch by Boutte earlier in the day moves right into the top ten all time Patriots playoff plays too (and that?s saying something).
My wife is not a sports fan at all (understatement) but through the years, every once in a blue moon, she sees a play - usually unintentionally on the news. She has commented on a total of two catches in our 36 year marriage. One was the Edelman catch. And the other occurred yesterday when she called the catch the "Boutte Beauty". Well... that catch was spectacular.
The incredible play by Williams - will be replayed because of it's uniqueness but I agree will lack some luster because the Bears ultimately lost. I don't think though that it will go the way of Derrick White's last second clean-up v Miami which I thought was incredible but because it only got us to a game 7 loss is pretty much lost itself.
