And Harbaugh is out because Lamar wanted him out.  Nothing more nothing less.

Harbaugh is out because he grew stale, the team has taken steps backwards, & the clock is ticking on the prime of their generational talent QB.

He was riding the coattails of a ridiculous Flacco run for years.
All may very well be true, but if Lamar wanted him there, Harbaugh would still be there.

Dolphins who haven't fired their coach apparently reached out to Harbaugh

Harbaugh probably wants a more stable QB situation. Unless he's in love with Ewers or MIA trades for someone, idk why he'd be interested in Miami.

I'm still predicting the Giants for him. They have some great individual talent on both sides of the ball, a big market, and Dart seems promising and has mobility too.

I'm not sure he'd want to be dealing with Allen & Maye for the foreseeable future either.

I think he should take over the Bucs job. They already have Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans and Cade Otton. He'll steer the ship (no pun intended with this team's theme) back to the promised lands

ESPN Sources: Dolphins fired head coach Mike McDaniel.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross met with McDaniel this week to discuss the season. After that meeting and reflection, Ross decided to move on.

Harbaugh in play?

Harbaugh in play?

I'm sure they'll chase him.

If I was Harbaugh, I'd sit tight for the moment and see what happens with both Buffalo and Green Bay.  If Buffalo loses this weekend, that could very well be the end of the line for McDermott (it should be).  And that'd be a helluva lot more enticing than the Miami situation.  Additionally, Green Bay might end up with an opening that would also be pretty enticing.

Besides locale, I'm not sure that Miami job is a great position.

When it was reported that Miami reached out to Harbaugh before firing McDaniel, I knew that meant McDaniel was going to be fired.  You can't have it out there that you are looking for a coach and then keep the one you have.

Stephen Ross is a Michigan alum who loves the Harbaughs.  I know it?s not official, but it feels fait accompli.

I doubt Harbaugh would want to go up against Josh Allen and Drake Maye twice a year.

He should go to the NFC. I think I mentioned the Bucs but it looks like that lousy management is keeping Todd Bowles. Giants would be a fresh restart and somebody else mentioned Green Bay (if they fire Matt LaFleur). Atlanta's spot is also opened, but their GM position is also vacant as well. I think it would be hilarious if Belichick fulfills Atlanta's vacancies.

I think his best options are either the Giants, or the Bills if they don't reach the AFCCG this season. I think McDermott is getting canned if they don't make it there.

Packers and Falcons are certainly interesting options too. I don't see the hype with Miami, they don't have a stable QB situation and their overall roster still needs a lot of work. Now who knows, maybe the owner is willing to shell out a ton of dough that's hard for Harbaugh to pass up.

Bucs reached out to Harbaugh who made it known he wanted his guy at GM.  Perhaps it could be someone existing some place, but there has to be a comfort level for Harbaugh with that person.  Bucs then announced they were keeping Bowles, which I think is dumb.  If you are flirting with someone else you've already made up your mind. Just make the move even if the originally flirtee rejects you.
