Chiefs' backup QB Gardner Minshew reportedly suffered a torn ACL.

Time to call back Alex Smith or even give Kapernick a call
why? They can't make the playoffs.  They are better off seeing if they can find a future backup off a practice squad

Another crazy ending in the Steelers / Lions game.  Offensive pass interference negates a last second TD lateral to Goff.

Bears and 49ers are in the playoffs.

Jags, Panthers, lot of surprises this season which is cool to see.

Meanwhile Lions now very likely missing the playoffs. That was another wild end. The way the ref juked the crowd though was pretty cruel

Question, is the expectation that Rivers is also going to play next year as well for the Colts?

Seems weird if he just came back for like 3-4 games, but also in that case what exactly are IND doing with Richardson and Leonard on the roster?

I don't think they expect Rivers to come back. The biggest asset of his is that since he hasn't been playing, he is actually healthy. I can't see the amount of stress there would be on a person having to go through mini camp, training camp, and games on a regular basis.

I thought Richardson was hurt and that was the reason he couldn't play. Didn't David Jones also sign a 1 year deal? I think they should do everything possible to sign Mac Jones. He is the ultimate game manager and on a team with a strong defense and Jonathan Taylor, that is really all they need out of their QB.

You can add Tampa Bay to the 'biggest disappointment' list too...started off the season hot 6-2 (with incredible wins over the Seahawks, 49ers, and Texans) before going 1-6 after the bye.

The Colts started 7-1 and were the 1 seed. 1-6 since and missing the playoffs. Absolutely brutal

They lost Daniel Jones to injury and all hell broke loose for them

The real question is for my fantasy football superbowl do I go with Maye against the Jets or Lawrence against the Colts.  I think I'm leaning towards Lawrence, but I've started Maye basically all year (except the bye).  Lawrence has been on quite the tear (acquiring Meyers and getting Strange back from injury has been huge for him) and the Colts are just sad right now.  Lawrence did slightly better the first game vs. the Colts, verse Maye against the Jets the 1st time, but with the state of the Colts it is hard not to start Lawrence.  All that said, if you told me one of the 2 just tanked hard, I'd also say it was Lawrence.  Just think the potential is there for a monster game from Lawrence, while Maye will likely be his normal solid self.

I haven?t seen much of the Colts this year to speculate on their downfall but there must have been some decline before jones went down on December 7.  That?s only 3 games ago.
