It's looking like Phillip Rivers, yes, Philip Rivers could be coming out of retirement & signing with the Colts.

He's 44 years old and hasn't played in the NFL since 2020.

Should have signed Peyton Manning, haha.

I saw some insane stat earlier that every AFC Championship game going back to 2003 has featured either Brady, Manning, Rothliesberger, or Mahomes.

Last night's ATL/TB game...down 28-26, Falcons with 3rd and 28, turned it into 4th and 14 and converted the first down.

ATL kicker Zane Gonzales kicks the go-ahead game-winning FG and wins it 29-28.

Perhaps the 28-3 curse is finally lifted? But wow, Tampa Bay is choking down the stretch. Perhaps the Patriots' win against them looks a bit watered down as they're now a .500 team, trailing behind Carolina Panthers for the NFC South division lead. Typical Todd Bowles coaching, guy should be canned a long time ago. Still won't forget him calling a blitz during that TB/Rams playoff game; letting Cooper Kupp beat them and pay the price dearly, costing Brady another ring. Would've been another one of the greatest playoff comeback ever for Brady down 27-3 against LAR.

Uh oh, Mahomes went down and it didn't look good. Probably avoided an ACL though thankfully. With KC out of the playoffs I think they will probably just shut him down anyways.

According to Rapsheet it's likely a torn ACL also.

Crazy day for injuries  :(

Mahomes torn ACL.

What a tragedy. You never want to see those happening to players, let alone someone of Mahomes' stature.

Mahomes torn ACL.

Hate to see it, but this just brings the Brady/Patrick debate even closer together now.  Let's see how Patrick rebounds after his, we all know how TB12 did!

It is kinda eerie.  Brady was 31 when he tore ACL.  Mahomes is 30.

I still don't think Mahomes career backside will age nearly as well as Brady's but you hate to see this happen to anyone, nevermind one of the greats.

It also depends what KC does to the roster. The Pats managed to add guys like McCourty, Hightower, Gronk, Edelman, etc. in some of the future years after Brady's ACL to help build the next core/nucleus, and even then they kind of needed to reset in 2009 (which was still a 10-6 season ending in a blowout loss to BAL in the wild card).

Kelce is very likely retiring. They also have a lot of holes on both sides of the ball and probably also some decisions to make on the coaching staff. They'll have to figure all that out even if Mahomes comes back and is his same self. Some of that also includes nailing some draft picks.
