Just hit the trade deadline. Sounds like crickets from Foxboro.

Since Eliot Wolf has taken over personnel duties, I don't believe he has traded for a player. He has traded Patriots players for picks.

Bengals not trading Trey is a little shocking but will get a good pick next season when he leaves in free agency
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

No moves by the Pats has to mean they don?t believe the team is a SB contender this year - apparently think they are more than a couple of players away.  If that?s their assessment I?m fine with the decision.  But as a layperson observer it sure seems like they could be in the mix.  But if they are building as they say, it looks like they will take the learning and experience gained this year - and attempt to make a splash in the off-season.

Don't sleep on Mo's Ravens...they're up 19-10 against the Vikings. Could snatch and win their division outright by the end of the season. They're the second best team in the AFC when they're healthy.

I already expect the Ravens will claw back and win the AFC North. I don't believe in Pittsburgh at all, and think Baltimore will beat them both times (yes divisional games especially in the AFC North are unpredictable but I do not believe in PIT at all). Still makes me mad the Pats lost to them, but Stevenson and Maye and others combined for 5 fumbles including one right as he was inches from the goal line smh

Yeah, Pittsburgh's a fraud team. Still upset we lost to them AND to Oakland. Could've been 9-1 if the Pats took care of business in Week 1

The Ravens will win the division, but I think Pittsburgh has a real chance to make the playoffs still as I'm not super sold on the Chargers or Broncos.

Btw that & the Thursday night game, it has not been a good week for primetime football in the NFL.

Has the makings of a trap game.  Division rival coming off a win on a short week.  Real rock fight potential here.

Outside of Thanksgiving, I hate Thursday games.

Yeah I don't deny that. I do think it'll be an ugly, low scoring game. Wouldn't surprise me if the Pats also rest some guys or hold out guys in the gameplan because it's a short week and a lot of guys did get dinged up yesterday. But tbh they can probably beat the Jets anyways with all that, but it won't look pretty
