Chicago the 1st team to 10 players

G: Chauncey Billups, Deron Williams
G: Kobe Bryant, Eric Gordon
F: Jimmy Butler, Danny Granger
F: Pau Gasol, Rasheed Wallace
C: Yao Ming, Tyson Chandler

That is a whole lot of size in the paint. 4 seven footers. Yao at 7-6 300lbs. 3 skilled bigs. 1 hustle big.

I think Jvalin took Sheed. I took Horford. So, sadly, you have to deduct a 7 footer.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

We're getting close to finally completing the Steph Curry trade.  Is there a complete board available by pick?

Oh sorry. My mistake. I read the wrong line. Your teams are right next to each other on my spreadsheet.

I love Horford too. He does many of the same things that Sheed does.

G: Chauncey Billups, Deron Williams
G: Kobe Bryant, Eric Gordon
F: Jimmy Butler, Danny Granger
F: Pau Gasol, Rasheed Wallace Al Horford
C: Yao Ming, Tyson Chandler

* That is a whole lot of size in the paint. 3 seven footers. Yao at 7-6 300lbs. 3 skilled bigs. 1 hustle big.

* I love the PG tandem. They were #5 and #6 in my PG rankings. Two muscular well rounded PGs.

* It doesn't look a team that will play small ball much. Danny Granger at PF being the best option. Prefer to stay big. Horford gives the team a good small ball option without actually going small. Someone quick enough to stay with smaller players on defense and skilled enough to open the floor on offense without sacrificing real size.

* I love the Sheed & Pau big man combo. I think that will be the team's best lineup rather than with Yao on the floor. More speed & quickness (offensively & defensively). More spacing (offensively).

Yeah, I will still roll with with Horford & Pau as the best big man duo rather than Yao & Pau or Yao & Horford. Although I do like Yao and Horford. I might like that more than Yao & Pau. Probably more than the idea of Sheed & Yao too. Horford would work well with Yao.

I would start Horford ahead of Pau and use Pau as a 6th man. Try to pickup a good backup PF in the final 2 picks to use Pau more as a center. Probably use Tyson less as Yao & Pau will take the center minutes. Tyson 3rd string.

Horford will open up the paint for Yao to attack on offense. He will also open up driving lanes for Kobe and Jimmy. The offense will function better with him than Pau.

I also think the defense will work better. Horford quicker and more athletic. He can cover more ground defensively. Yao is a great defender when he stick inside the paint but he needs mobile defenders around him to help him do that. Yao also does not require much shot-blocking help since he is so dominant as a rim protector when he is allowed to stick around in the paint.

I think the starting unit will work better on both ends with Horford instead of Pau.

I agree on the merits. My philosophy on team-building after getting Kobe/Pau was doing a supercharged version of the repeat Lakers so it led to a very size driven build.

About time that Blake Griffin got taken, and Peja is an all-time great shooter who played on some excellent teams.

He was a guy I took a hard look at before settling on the dude I'm about to take which is purely based on perceived fit for my squad.

Ahh, I was hoping I'd get to steal him late in the round.

You might?ve if Chet was still on the board. My big board today was Siakam, Chet, Bridges, and Bam and I thought Siakam was more likely to get snagged in the six picks between mine. But I did think he?d be a good fit for RodyTur and Rody saw it too.

I?m really happy with Bam. He doesn?t stretch the floor, but he does everything else. Can play him with KAT, Mobley, or KD at the PF spot and unlock some different things. You can effectively play him as a C, but as I want to keep KAT at C I?m listing Bam at PF.

Siakam Bam KAT is a backup frontcourt with good size and versatility, I think, paired with Kidd and Vince in the backcourt
