I like Tim's combo of Love and Camby as well. I had Love in my previous draft (like five years ago) and I was strongly considering him, but my team's style will be to push tempo, be disruptive with high ball pressure and closing passing lanes against all these offensive powerhouses.

And although Love is a great rebounder, outlet passer and follow-up shooter I thought he was a bit of a mismatch for my team.

Still such an abundance of talent out there. If someone came in now and was allowed to take eight straight picks he could still make a respectable team despite the ridiculous competition.

Great pick Smokeablount. Shocked he was still around. I was debating on taking him 4 picks ago.. had to really decide between him and Kevin Love. Tough to pick what KAT's best season was, was it last year?

Thanks Tim and Snively!

I like 2017-18. It's lower usage, but he was a deadeye shooter and rebounded like a beast. It was before he was a good passer for his position, but that's the season I'm leaning. He made 3rd team all NBA I believe 3x so I'll be doing a final review of those seasons, and Kidd's when the team is whole

Kevin Love and KAT were neck and neck to me, great pick, it makes sense they went close to back to back. I drafted Camby 2 years in my first CBlog fantasy draft as a backup center, he was a beast on defensive and with defensive rebounding. With Rondo at PG, you'll be able to get some offense out of him too.

Yup, Chandler was on my big board. Think he'd be great in this league.

The OKC Thunder make a highly controversial pick... Karl Anthony Towns!

Stretches the floor, allows for a high efficiency 5 out offense with KAT, EM, KD, Klay, and SGA, or

Gives you more punch and perimeter in the starting unit with Rudy, KAT, KD, Klay, SGA

Those are some awesome lineups / combinations.

Thanks Who, always good to hear good things from someone with your knowledge for the theoretical!

I loved the JJJ pick. That flew under the radar but you get a DPOY who rebounds and shoots 3's and allows you to play a 5 out offense. I viewed him as kind of the next best thing to Mobley. Definitely a guy who can get in the starting lineup in the right circumstances if desired.

Gaaa, really wanted White.

White was #2 on my list.

Such a killer in this kind of league.

I guess I had no chance at White. I was hoping to grab him first pick tomorrow. He's really good but there are still some pretty absurd PG names floating around out there

Guys who can play excellent D, drain 3s off the catch or the bounce with volume and accuracy and attack/pass off closeouts are super valuable in a league with this much shot creation.

Team USA team-building logic.
In a vacuum, there are plenty of ball handlers better than D-White. We aren't drafting in a vacuum though. I can think of only 5 starting-calibre 3+D ball handlers: Billups, Mavs Kidd, Jrue, D-White, Lowry. Most of them won't be starters, but I don't think they'd be out of their depth playing starter's minutes. All of them can remain highly effective even in a low-usage role. That's a pretty rare trait for ball handlers.

Yeah, I had E Mobley ranked above JJJ too. More rebounding & passing. I had those two and Horford as 3 guys I was looking at to fill this type of role.

JJJ dropped in my PF rankings due to his bad rebounding but I like the fit with this group of players. He works well with those two big men & Nash's playmaking at PG.

Great player.  Just don't ask him about politics, lol.
