you have to staple something onto bad players if you want to move them. i read that the celtics now have 10 second round pick through 2032.

Kinda funny how 2nd round picks nowadays are seen as having so little value.
I remember when the NBA draft was 9 - 10 rounds and the 2nd round was viewed differently.
Of course, there were less teams then, so you were looking at slightly higher regarded players who are now late 1st rounders, but the change in perspective is still interesting.
