I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Like the pick with Egor though. A lot of the sites had him falling to the 20?s which I thought was insane. Good spot for him to land.

Nothing terribly surprising so far.  Maybe expected Bailey to drop a little bit after his pre-draft antics but everything else is at least within a few picks of most projections.

Been listening to Sam Vecenie.  He hated the Fears pick.  But then when the Nets chose Demin he said Fears won't be my worst lottery pick.  The Nets could have had him at 19.

Maybe Utah took him with an eye towards a trade. He clearly has the most upside and value of anyone they could have taken at 5. Even if they keep him, good on Ainge for taking the best player and not caving in to that I don't want to go there stuff.  They have him under control for years now.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

That?s one of Danny?s best traits as a GM.

I would have been happy to give up both of our picks in this draft, but wouldn?t have been crazy about giving up 28 and a future 1st. Not a bad trade for both Suns and Hornets

Cedric Coward looks like a young Joe Johnson.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I agree
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

unreal that the next pick to be made that wasn't part of a trade is the C's pick at 28
