Zion looks like he lost a ton of weight.

Yep, skinniest I have seen him since Duke.

Have we gotten the "I added 15 pounds of muscle" quote from anybody yet?

Or "he grew 2 inches"

Or "he's spent every day in gym making 1000 corner threes"

Or "he worked out with Drew Hanlan this summer"

Or "he worked out with (insert former NBA star that may have been good at basketball but probably isn't good at coaching)"

Seriously. Some of his dunks this year should be spectacular. Zion, Morant, and Ant Edwards are just on another level athletically.

Yeah, this is my worry with Zion.  He does look great in the photos.  It is probably true that at this current point in time, he is in much better shape to play NBA basketball than in past seasons where he appeared overweight.  But his track record, 7 wasted NBA seasons, is not good.

He is a tough one to peg.  He could play at an all NBA level the next 10 seasons, or he could have 10 more seasons (or less) like the first 7, or worse.  It appears that the arrow is pointed in the right direction right now, but who knows.

37% from 3pt? Go get him, Brad!

Michael Scotto: Just In: The Charlotte Hornets are waiving Nick Smith Jr, league sources told @hoopshype. He averaged 9.9 points and 2.4 assists in 22.8 minutes, while starting 27 of 60 games played for Charlotte last season. He?s shot 37% from 3-point range so far during his NBA career.

Not sure about that. They have a lot of guard depth. Think he was just the odd guy out.

PGs: Ball, Dinwiddie, Mann
SG: Miller, Sexton, McNeely

I consider McNeely more of a small forward. Dinwiddie is kind of washed and doesn?t really fit on a rebuilding team anyway. I?m a little surprised by the waive but they are in a roster crunch. They also have 2nd pick Sion James and Pat Connaughton signed for guards.
