Happy for Luke finally getting his bag.  Less so for our own situation, lol.  That's a big loss given the current state of our interior depth.

Wow.  Congrats to Luke.  He worked hard for that contract.  Ill miss his personality off the bench.  Welcome to the new CBA.  2 to 3 year windows unless you have a billion picks like okc to keep restocking and developing.  They've done a great job with this.

Denver trade Michael Porter & unprotected first to Nets for Cam Johnson

I?m for anything that makes teams other than LAL better.  In a season that the Cs aren?t a contender the main goal (other than development of young players, maybe getting a top pick, and getting set up for 26-27) is the Lakers getting nowhere near a banner.

Yeah it didn?t seem like 6M was going to do it for Luke. Spurs should be ascending over the next couple of years just in time for our pick swap. But good for Luke.

Cs have lost 3 guys that contributed a ton to making the Cs an extremely likable team.  The biggest loss next season may be team culture.

Luke improved through the season but I honestly was mostly frustrated with his lack of athleticism, lack of agility and terrible hands. His plus/minus was not terrible which was puzzling. Hope he does well in SAS.

LOL.  TP.  Totally agree.  After rhe gift of Luka i want the Lakers to be as mediocre as possible.

It?s gonna be a cycle with this current CBA. Teams will spend to win now, then will dismantle their team if things don?t work out.

Tyus Jones to Magic (1yr/7M).  Very good addition for the Magic.

Is there some reason to sign Garza so soon?  Seems like Stevens could have waited to see if there was a better option.  And why would they sign him to a 2yr guaranteed contract?

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, one of the top free agents on the board, will be heading to the Atlanta Hawks on a four-year, $62 million sign-and-trade deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, a league source confirmed to The Athletic. He will also receive a player option and a trade kicker.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will receive a future second-round pick and cash from the Hawks, according to a team source.
