Sad day in the music world. Brian Wilson has died.

Brilliant leader of The Beach Boys, had big impact on 60?s music in general and on many artist of the time including the Beatles.  His music lives on - well-remembered part of American history.

Cousin/bodyguard Stan Love (father of Kevin Love) had just died like 6 weeks ago too.

considering how many medical/mental issues he dealt with, I'm surprised he lasted this long.  a shame those issues derailed an incredible music career

I believe he was suffering from dementia over the last year & he had already lost his wife in early 2024. I would imagine he is at peace now.

For all the joy Brian Wilson brought to the world & brilliance he produced, he lost so much of his life to tragedy & betrayal.

Emotionally & physically beaten down by his father, used & abused by those who were meant to care for him.

A good short watch for Beach Boys fans and for those who may not be and don?t get why Brian Wilson is always labeled *genius*.  Wilson was 23 at the time and working with experienced studio musicians - a number of them *Wrecking Crew*.
