I haven?t liked a James Gunn project yet and the dude honestly gives me the creeps and he insults paying customers . I don?t understand this behavior at all. The people over at Star Wats were doing this. Not smart business. The movie looks too cheesy and tongue in cheek for me. I?m not a comics guy but I?d have been more interested if there was original music and not the goofy Clark Kent and quips dialogue thing. But who knows. I Do think it will do well financially and even though I?d never listen to a critic. People do .

Honestly, Happy Gilmore 2

though not in theaters.

Yeh.  That seems like one that can't possibly be any good, but I'll have to watch it (alone because my wife is not a fan of Adam Sandler).

What are everyone's thoughts one Liam Neeson in The Naked Gun?  I know Lesley Nielson was a serious actor before Airplane and the OG Naked Gun movies, but he was not nearly as well known as Neeson.  I'lll be impressed if he can pull it off.  Also, if the writers/director etc... can translate that brand of comedy into a modern setting.

I?m not a fan of Seth McFarlane and I heard that the original writers had a draft that people found hilarious but they really wanted it to go to Seth. I think it was a good move getting a serious actor  but I?m not looking forward to it too much.

Oh wow.  I didn't realize this was a Seth McFarlane thing.  Hmmmm...I like Family Guy and all but if he falls into making the main character do Peter Griffin shtick I don't know that it will go well.

I did like the Orville though.  So maybe I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Yup

A bit of a funny topic for me as I haven't been to a movie theater in at least 15 years (I'm trying to think of the last time I might have gone to the movies with my younger daughter who is 30).   It's not something I miss or yearn for - good chance I'll never go to a movie theater again.

But... I saw something today that I'm interested in hearing about.  The company I work with (I'm an independent contractor with them) moved their offices to a new location -- at the end of the cul de sac there is a movie theater.  I noticed today that it said something like "luxury movie theater" - I don't recall the name of the theater.   What does it mean to be a luxury movie theater?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Out of the movies listed, easily Superman.
1. Superman
2. Jurassic World
3. Fantastic Four
4. 28 Years Later
5. F1

I will watch the first 3 in theaters. Will the other 2 when available at home.

Ahhh - thanks.  Looks a lot better than the filthy crowded and get stuck behind tall people theaters.  Could bring our Clorox wipes and be comfortable.  I?m sure I won?t ever go, but TP for the pic. I assume they still have the $10 small popcorn.

Most chains have the deluxe seats now.  They are definitely more comfortable, but still just a notch below as comfy as you?d hope.  I love going to the movies.  Place near me had a $6.50 bargain Tuesday.  I?ll go with my adult nephew or my kids if they?re home.  Wife is not a cheap date.  She?ll only go out for a movie on the weekend!

Honestly, I need to see the reviews before getting excited about any of them.

The next movie I'll see is probably Life of Chuck, since I enjoyed the story and love Stephen King.  Of those listed, I'd be surprised if I didn't check out Fantastic Four and Superman, but again...  reviews.  Actually, I just realized I've seen every Jurassic Park movie in theaters, so no need to break the streak there, either.

I'm with Redz on 28 Years Later.

No real interest in F1.

I?m expecting to see the Life of Chuck with the family as well.

I went this afternoon.  I really enjoyed it.  It's a "small" movie, but it ebgaged my brain and my heart, which is more than most movies do.

It's a bit non-linear and abstract, so I'm wondering how people who aren't familiar with the source material will view it.
