I think we got pretty similar trade value back for Holliday as we thought a few weeks ago. Simons and 2 seconds is pretty similar to these other packages.
I take the L on Porzingis though. I really thought we'd be able to get a little more back.
To be fair, KP had the value of Mann and #22 pick which is comparable to some of the ones you mentioned. The Celtics just chose they preferred the money savings over actual potential value so that is the big difference really. I am still surprised that KP and Jrue had the value they did in the end.
Fair enough - the trade value I had baked in the salary savings though. Thought we'd be able to figure out a to keep value. But Brooklyn had us over a barrel.
Still have no idea what they are going to do with all those 1st round picks.
