Wow .. I didn't realize how good Neesmith has become.  Very impressive improvement.

I am not complaining ... it was a good trade for us ... but Neesmith is now a very good player.

I love how Indiana is kicking New York's ass. Really enjoying this series. Go Neesmith go. :D

He definitely wouldn't have become the player he is now on this team. He was barely getting minutes.

20 point leads not all that meaningful in these playoffs.

I have forgotten who we got for Nesmith, Was it Brogdon ?
I'd prefer having Nesmith coming off our bench at this point.

Brogdon who we eventually traded for Jrue. So no regrets there as I don?t think we win last year?s championship without Jrue. That said, happy to see where Neismith is now and wouldn?t mind him back in green at some point in his career.

Yes, we traded Nesmith, Theis, Fitts, Morgan, Stauskas and 2023 1st round pick for Brogdon. We then traded Brogdon and Timelord and two firsts for Jrue. Since Jrue was pretty important to our team in winning the championship last season I'd say we won the trade/s

And the thing is, it was the right move for Theis and Aaron, because the allowed them more playing time, particularly Aaron who needed it. He just wasn't going to get into our rotation at his level back in 2022. So it worked out for everyone.

Happy for him! One of the only players we have traded recently that actually worked out for the other team. I guess Bane is the other one.

And that really benefited Bane too.  He'd have been stuck coming of our bench.
