I may have asked this question before, but the Kornet discussion reminded me of a question my daughter had for me.  Which members of the Celtics do you think you'd be friends with if they were "normal", but had essentially the same personality?

My answer was Luke at #1, but really, we've got a great roster of guys who are seemingly decent humans.  Jrue and Horford stand out there, but top to bottom, most of the guys seem pretty chill.

I'm thinking the only guy I think I definitely wouldn't be friends with is JB.  For whatever reason, Pritchard also strikes me as somebody who would rub me the wrong way.  Other than that, I'm either neutral or think they'd be chill.

Derrick.

He seems super chill and down to earth.  Has a dry sense of humor.  Seems like a good dude.

Oddly JB and PP were the first two I thought of as my answers. I just think that JB would be an interesting guy to talk to and I read somewhere about PP just showing up at a local park and just shooting hoops with whoever was there. D White seems awfully chill. Really, none stand out as someone I could not be friends with.

Not sure we?d be friends, but KP fascinates me.  Seems highly intelligent and he?d be interesting and engaging to talk to.  For sense of humor, got be Luke.

I feel like Jrue Holiday and Marcus Smart would make great friends. You don?t win teammate of the year 3 times for no reason; and Smart seems like somebody who would genuinely care about how I?m doing and check up on me often. I really like people who put themselves out there and don?t pretend to be cool.

none of them strike me as jerks so I'd probably get along with all of them

All time.  I'd go with McHale or Xavier McDaniel.  I "met" them both briefly when I got to interview them for media day one-to-one.  They were both very down to earth and funny.
Yup

If you hang out with Bill Walton too much you're going to end up living in a van down by the river.

But for real I would totally listen to some random Grateful Dead bootlegs with Bill. I'm sure he has some insights there.
