Well look at what happens when you don't settle for 3s

We are shooting 46% on threes. 41 three point attempts.

Yup.  Way better without Tatum so far in the 4th.  Our players are moving.  The ball is moving.  This is how you play the game.  Not endlessly launching 3's.

I'm not going to say we're better without Tatum because we aren't.  But sometimes when a team loses its best player, all the other guys know they have to step up.  They move more, get more aggressive, do things that they don't usually do and may not be in the other team's notes.

That high usually burns out eventually but for a little while it works.

This has been a splendid effort all around. And honestly if not for Porzingis' horrific minutes and all the missed FTs it'd be pure domination from the start

Felt coming into this game the Cs would play hard and win.

Almost there.

Agreed

Well, they have taken 41 shots from 3pt. But they are going in!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah exactly. Or at the very least going up 3-2, not down 3-2.

This series loss is on us, not New York being better

Another foul drawn by Brunson.

Won't matter. They are in too big of a hole.

Seriously man. The Brunson calls are just terrible. It is every time down. And the Cs don't get the same calls.
