After the lottery last night coupled with the history of the inexplicable happening, how are we feeling about the integrity of the league? I know we can't prove anything, but that fish smell is too noticeable now to not ask questions. The odds of these teams with such low % of chances to win seem to happen at the most convenient times.

I can't quit the team as of this moment, but I don't think I'll ever care as much as I once did either.

I don't trust the league as far as integrity.

I do trust the league to always do whatever it considers most financially beneficial.

A team loses its only marketable player? Make sure they get the next No. 1 pick. People go to games to see star players? Make sure those guys don't get in foul trouble. On the verge of having a throwaway franchise make the Finals? Give their glamorous opponent tons of foul calls.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Weird how this happens

2011

Chris Paul traded (then not traded) to the Lakers. Ends up with Clippers

2012

New Orleans ends up with #1 pick (AD)

2019

Anthony Davis traded to the Lakers

2019

New Orleans ends up with #1 pick (Zion)

2025

Luka Doncic traded to the Lakers

2025

Dallas ends up with the #1 pick.

I don't know how they'd rig it, but at this point I'm suspicious.

No Pat Ewing or LeBron to his home town. Didn't the Cavs get the # pick like 3 times in 4 years... We had the two best chances to get Duncan but Got the two lowest picks we could've gotten.

The league most likely rigs the lottery when there is a high caliber prospect who theyd like to choose where they go. It?s not right, but am I going to stop watching? No. I?ll still take rigged basketball over any other sport lol.

I don't know how they'd rig it, but at this point I'm suspicious.

This is how I feel.  Rigging would actually require a full scale fraud operation by a Big Four accounting firm in conjunction with the league.  The fallout would be crippling to the league and to Ernst & Young.  So I just don't see a full scale conspiracy here but I'm also still ridiculously suspicious at this point.

?Let?s go behind doors with NBA security & everyone knows it?s not rigged? 🙄🙄🙄

And make things worse is bottom 3 teams in Utah, Washington & Charlotte didn?t even make top pick, oh wait, they are in a smaller market range so can?t have that
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

My understanding of why the actual drawing isn't televised is because its extremely boring television with lottery balls getting drawn & redrawn again if a team has already been rewarded with a pick.

This happening again makes  me think the #1s to the Pelicans, the Cavs #1?s after LeBron, Ewing to NY and others were all fixed. I was iffy before but this trade was so bad and never made sense. It does now. Disgusting.

This, plus the Lakers getting Luka was huge for the league in terms of revenue/ratings. LeBron will be gone in the next few years and now the most popular team in the league has a 26 year old superstar to keep them relevant for the next 8+ years. Silver rewards Dallas with Flagg. I don?t know how anyone can think it?s not rigged at this point.
