Quick observations. Celtics are getting their butts kicked on the glass and are shooting terribly from the FT line.

Clean up the glass a bit, but besides that a very solid half.

I know we can?t complain about the whistles, but that last call on Horford was terrible.  Brunson pushes off and slips, so the call is on the defender?

If the possum falls it's a foul!

Brown 7 turnovers have given the Knicks 10 points

Cs have missed 5 FTs

Knicks have 8 offensive boards

Cs go on a run and then let the Knicks back in with some horrendous shots.

Why are we going to JB there? Come on, White. Make the better decision and go to your star who is actually playing well tonight - not the guy who has been killing us all ngiht. Or, hell, take it yourself.

White should've take that shot!

Wondering which stats that Joe's using to let Tatum or Brown heave a long 3 at the end of  the half.

NY +1 on the boards.

Feels like the offense tonight is JT's turn, then JB's turn. They are not moving the ball when they get it. Both are a black hole.

Maybe asking a lot but I hope Tatum plays all the 2nd half, or only sits for 2-3 minutes total. They NEED this game. Treat the 2nd half like Game 7

YES!!!!!!!!

it can be done

RONDO played all 48 minutes in game 1 ECf in 2012 at miami

we were robbed that game by the refs also!

Games like this make it clear that refs aren't there to call a clean game. They're there to manage whatever narratives the league favors. Like WWE. Obviously, in the 1st half the agenda was to make sure the New York team is not embarrassed like the Cavs were. As long as the Cs don't play too boneheaded, the refs will let them win. But not by a blowout, and in a way that will let the Knick fans who bought tickets will think it was close. It couldn't be more obvious.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I don?t have a great feeling about this one. It?s going to all fall on Tatum?s shoulders with everybody else struggling (I know White started out on fire, but he hasn?t been relevant since).

The TOs, offensive rebounds, and the refs suddenly feeling like they need to even out the fouls even though the Knicks are constantly fouling. We need to clean this up

Is the offensive boards that matter.  824 Nick?s on off offensive rebounds. That is for more possessions. Defensive rebounds depend on who misses the most shots.

NY +1 on the boards.

Yep. Could be a 16 point lead. Could be even more if Brown doesn't turn it over so much.
