Shout out to Pritchard. He was an ice cold killa out there!  8)

Our defense on the Knicks has been excellent this series. One game at a time.

Good win.

Does Brunson get to push and hold on almost every play because he is short?!?   I don?t get it

Yes he does. PP is short and gets a crap whistle... Brunson is a "Star" ythat the NBA likes to hype up...

Something worth monitoring. I remember on Twitter there was some clips where people found KAT holding his hand and mouthing "it's broken" referring to his finger, and when I saw it, it looked like that's what he said too ("it's broken").

They asked him after the game about it and he denied doing any X-Rays/Imaging but that "it is what it is". Some Knicks reporters though seem to think he might have broken something in his hand or there may be some ligament/tendon damage.

caught the game on tape delay.  today's hot takes:
- game ball to PP.  his shooting is what helped build the lead in the first half and helped keep the Knicks at arms length in the second.
- Tatum, Brown and White have all got to figure out how to pass again on offense.  so many of their passes are off target.  Tatum and Brown are back to where they were 2-3 years ago when driving into the paint and getting stripped.  NY getting away with some hacking doesn't help but the J's ball handling has been low quality.
- KP was solid on D but his offense is woeful.
- Al was huge all game.  He doesn't get enough recognition for what he does for this team.
- Jrue was solid.  Did a lot of good things and didn't make many mistakes.

Team should be able to bounce back to take this series but it's no guarantee this gets them back on the right path

Yes - undoubtedly game ball goes to Pritchard.  He was the scorer when it looked for a few minutes like the C's were going to go on one of those agonizing miss-bad-shots streaks.  They started the 4th like they wanted to let NY back in - hoisting threes, missing, and forgetting to move the ball or drive.  JB did get on track with a couple of key drives, but it was PP who kept the pressure on the Knicks.

JT and DW have better games in them, though I'm not really complaining about either of them today.  Loved the DW save on JT's airball to JB for the midrange.  Big play at a great time.

I wasn't really comfortable till about 3 minutes left (maybe less).

I agree that KP contributed defensively but he seems awkward, a little clumsy, and can't make a shot.  And though we know there's a physical component to his struggles, at this point it's got to be in his head as well.   I'd love to see him break out of this on Monday night.  Al's been terrific, but I'd prefer him not having to play 35 minutes.

Generally don't like afternoon games, but even though it's just 4-5 hours more rest, I'm guessing being able to relax on a Saturday night is a good thing.

Huge game today - and huge again on Monday and Wednesday.   But... for now anyway... it's a series again.

Is it true that Brunson asked Thibs twice to rest the starters in preparation for Game 4? That?s wild.

Idk but it is worth mentioning. A hallmark of Thibs' teams, a lot of the starters and stars start to wear down as the playoffs drag on due to fatigue and injuries which are contributed by the heavy minutes he plays them. It also happened to the Knicks in the 2nd round last year, some of their guys got hurt or ran out of gas by Games 6 and 7. If this gets extended to a 6th game, and maybe 7th, it'll be interesting to see how the Knicks are after facing our defense again a few more times. We're definitely making them work. KAT may have a hand injury and honestly even Brunson at times looked sluggish.

OMG I'm just noticing this. This is absolutely hilarious. They are making it sound like Robinson is a Make-A-Wish Kid shooting FTs while the crowd "cheers him on"

Great to see the team get a win. Should be up 3-0, but would love to see them make the Knicks fans get there hopes up and then win 4 straight

Doubled checked the schedule and the game is set for Monday at 7:30 on ESPN.  Don't miss it!
