Cedric Coward   Washington State   SG
Chaz Lanier   Tennessee   SG
Javon Small   West Virginia   PG
Gabe Dorsey   William & Mary   SG
Ben Gregg   Gonzaga   PF
Caleb Grill   Missouri   SG
Clifford Omoruyi   Alabama   C
Joson Sanon   Arizona State   SG
Aaron Scott   St. John's   SF
Steve Settle   Temple   SF
Milos Uzan   Houston   PG
Johni Broome   Auburn   C
Obinna Anochili   Marshall   SF
Zeke Mayo   Kansas   PG
Kobe Sanders   Nevada   SG
Brycen Goodine   Oklahoma   SG
Jaxson Robinson   Kentucky   SG
Mohammad Amini   Monaco   SG

Not a very inspiring list of guys. Last draft at this time the list of players in for workouts included both of the Cs picks Scheierman and Watson.

Of this group Coward has a green room invite and other than him I suspect only Lanier, Broome and maybe Sanders are top 40 picks. This leads me to believe a trade of some sort is going to happen. Maybe they are going to trade up and are keeping those workouts under wraps or non-existent. More than likely is the option of moving off of the #28 for future assets in the event picks are needed to move off of salary.

That list is putrid.

I agree I like Coward if he falls to #28 but I doubt that happens and I have my concerns with trading up for him.

I did see a rumor that Drake Powell worked out for the Cs but nothing that has been officially reported on. Powell is an interesting option in that he like Jordan Walsh has great measurable and projects as an elite defender but also like Walsh he underwhelmed as a freshman.

Walsh has continued to underwhelm as a Pro!

With Tatum getting injured this is the year if Walsh shows he belongs.  He's still only 21 until next March.  He's the same age as Cedric Coward and is younger then 30% of the first round picks this year.  Walsh should play just because of his energy and defense.  I also like his driving ability and if he can finish more at the rim he will be in the rotation all year.

Walsh has talent, and he is athletic, he just needs to let the game come to him on offense.  Defensively, he is disruptor who can affect passing lanes and guard several positions.

I haven?t given up on him yet. He just turned 21 a few months ago. I?ve seen enough of JD, though. Time to move on.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Could Danny Wolf fall to 28?

He could because his skill set might not be for everyone. That's also why I have Raynaud and Kalkbrenner ranked ahead of him. Both are more traditional bigs who I can see seamlessly playing a role on winning teams.

I've seen Kalkbrenner on quite a few recent mocks going to Boston. What do we think of him?

Powell is on this list of players that have worked out for the Celtics:

I do not think he is an NBA player.

If Walsh is a regular rotation player for the Cs this year...that is just trouble for the Celtics. Don't see anything at all in him. Same with Davison.

I?m convinced he is a rotational big maybe never a true starter but a player capable of eating minutes off the bench. He has elite length and finishes at an extremely high level. As a drop big and a roll man he should contribute as a rookie.
