Porzingis can't play another minute this series. We managed to get by, but last night all of NY's runs and momentum/leads came when KP was on the court. When he was off the court, the C's mostly dominated. If they want to win Friday night at MSG, they can't afford to put KP out there to get toasted for a few minutes, because those few bad minutes could be the difference in a close game.

He's truly offering nothing on both ends and has also been bad at the line, such as bricking those 2 late in Game 4 when we really needed them. Complete liability right now.

BENCH KP

use queta to rotate with Al and kornet moving forward. JUST DO IT joe. trust him. we need fresh legs. he can offer something even if only rebounds and some defense.

when we went to classic old school celtics pass the ball to a open man they could not beat us.

SAS is scared this morning. very scared. he does not wanna go back to BAWSTIN for a game 7.  we need all hands on deck game 6 and take the crowd out early. turn MSG into a morgue. ball movement for 48 minutes and play defense. its all we have to do.

LET'S GO CELTICS!

The big adjustment for game 6 has to be not playing KP even a single minute.

Yes he's not just a non factor he's a liability. He was a -14 when virtually everyone else was a +12 to +20, including Kornet

The Xavier Tillman redemption starts here?
he doesn't even get garbage time.  hard to see him staying in the league when his deal is up.  would take a miracle turnaround

I'd rather see Queta get 5-10 minutes.

YES! see my post above! LETS GO!

now the X factor is the refs and their protecting brunson. we will have to be able to withstand these ebbs and flows of the feeling the refs want NY to win. we will have to overcome that. keep their runs short. use your timeouts joe.

I think the Celtics still have to try KP if it looks like he is capable before the game.   Just don't plan on him being able to go long and have a quick hook if it looks like he did last night.

But if KP can be himself for even a few minutes, it could be such a huge boost to the Celtics.

a healthy KP made us unstoppable last year.

this version of KP is no better than GREG STIEMSMA back in 2012.

Steimsma would have blocked more shots.

I'll keep believing. One game at a time. I don't love our chances tomorrow night, but if we actually manage to win then suddenly I'm on cloud 9 (cue the "Home Game 7 choke" jokes but I really do love our chances if we actually force a Game 7 against this opponent)

yeah if we can steal game 6 i think the home crowd can will us to victory in a game 7. different team than 2018 and just different situation than 2023 in a few ways. if we share the ball and move and play D we have a shot. no selfish play. find the open man or cutter.

now the refs are the wild card. who knows what the NBA wants. DO they want a game 7 regardless who wins?

I?d love it but I don?t believe.
With the teams now relatively equal in terms of talent, it?s really hard to win three straight.  Brunson will go off in one of the next two game while JB, DW, and PP will not all have solid offensive games.  If KP came back to life I?d give us a good chance but will be very tough to win the next two.

If porzingis was himself we could still contend for the finals and probably would?ve won this series in 5?sad
