I'll just jinx it now and call it a Celtics sweep. 

Love this matchup.  Even more so if Jrue is back.  We saw in the regular season how well we matchup against this Knicks team.  More of the same this series.  Tatum is on another level right now. I don't see how they're gonna be able to stop him.   Porzingis is gonna have a bounceback series and I also expect both Derrick & JB to play extremely well.

I think we will lose Game 1; no way in hell the Knicks are losing 5 in a row to Boston this year...playoffs are a different environment. We're also due for a home-loss anyway.

I agree we lose G1 too, I think they will come in overconfident and get a rude shock, then come back in G2.

Jrue might still be iffy for Game 1 but it sounds like he's likely to return for the series.

Jaylen should be fine. Same with Tatum and others.

We definitely will need Jrue though, especially for Brunson. We could in theory survive a game without Jrue but it becomes a lot difficult if Jrue has to miss multiple games this series too. I'm hoping the hamstring isn't too serious and maybe they were sort of load managing him thinking they could get by ORL anyways because ORL couldn't score

I am too superstitious to provide an actual prediction.  It is within the code of superstitions to reference betting odds and other predictions.  It is reasonable that the Celtics are heavy favorites.

I will say that the Knicks have two really good players at two key positions, Brunson and Towns.  Anunoby and Bridges are pretty good supporting players.  Hart is decent as a #5.  I think the similarity is less to OKC and more to CLE (Mitchell/Mobley to Brunson/Towns).

I?m a New Yorker so I?m excited for this (not that I can afford to go to a game here). Celtics have too many weapons, great defense and size to make it difficult for the Knicks entire roster.

I expect Tatum to have a huge series. Bright lights of MSG. This is a huge atmosphere for him to continue his Tour.
