Watching Darrion play in the tournament, he?s giving me similar vibes that Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson did while at Villanova. Like those two, Williams isn?t the most athletic, but he just gets it done. Also seems like a very smart player.

Darrion Williams is a 6?6 225lb Forward for Texas Tech. During the season he averaged 15pts, 6rebs, 4ast on 44/34/84 shooting splits. Last year he shot 46% from 3pt. I hope Brad considers taking him with one of the picks in this year?s draft. Could be a decent piece for the Celtics down the road.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I was really surprised to see him as the number 48th ranked prospect on Tankathon. From what Ive seen, he should be a Top 25 pick, especially because this draft isn?t particularly deep.

A lot more European players are going in the first round these days, so it?s hard to make the cut. He?s also a Junior and about to turn 22. Good news for the C?s!

Yeah, if the Celts come away from the draft with Williams and Broome or Condon, I will be a very happy camper.
