How can I access Celtics radio from here in Knoxville to listen to their game broadcasts instead of the current TV duo, who I get on my league pass or God forbid, Doris Burke on ESPN ? Surely there is some sort of internet access even if I have to subscribe to some service.

I think this works during games.  Just click on Listen Live.

You can listen to basically any radio station using a wide variety of apps for free.

iheart.com seems to be popular.
I use the alexa app since it's already on my phone to control my kids devices.

Chances are good if you listen to streaming music, that app can do radio from any station you want.

I know the apple app can. Google music did before they rolled it into youtube, I assume youtube music does too, but I refuse to use that idiocy.

Getting very close to pulling the plug on all google services since they have become so anti-consumer.

I have Sirius XM.  They have all NBA play by play. The nice thing is you can choose which team?s radio duo you want to hear.

Works out well this time of the year during tax season when I?m stuck late in the office.

I have found that if you are not in the listening area (anywhere they consider the Celtics the home team), they will shift you to alternative programming, probably because of the deal with Sirius.

Ah, makes sense.  I've been able to access it in Maine, but we're probably part of the home area.

Then I concur with Dons, Sirius offers some cost-effective options.  Just search around for a deal; there are some that are dirt cheap, and they will continually offer you introductory prices if you call them, I've found.

If that doesn't work, I'm currently in TN as well and the Tune In site works as well for 98.5

Usually I just stream games on StreamEast lol but this works for radio too. If there is an occasion where it shifts you to alternate programming I think the NBC Sports Boston site works.
