The NCAA men's tournament bracket was revealed on Sunday with Auburn announced as the No. 1 seed playing out of the South region.

Duke is the No. 1 seed in the East, Houston is the No. 1 seed in the West and Florida is the No. 1 seed in the Midwest after beating Tennessee in the SEC championship game. Tennessee, Michigan State, Alabama and St. John's earned No. 2 seeds

Auburn secured the No. 1 overall seed thanks to winning the SEC regular season and producing a 28-5 record while playing the nation?s second-hardest schedule.

The Tigers lost three of their last four games, including a defeat to Tennessee in the SEC tournament semifinal. But the NCAA tournament committee overlooked Auburn?s late-season struggles and rewarded an overall r?sum? that features the best regular season in an SEC that that produced a record 14 NCAA tournament teams.

SEC easily breaks the conference record with 14 teams selected for the tournament.  Only South Carolina and LSU were left out.

The potential matchups at the top of the bracket seem a little weird to me.  Duke was #1 in polling, but they seemingly got treated like the 4th best #1 seed, since if all goes chalk they'll match up against Alabama (#5 in the polls and the best #2 seed).

If they were treated like the 4th best #1 seed, Florida would have stayed in the East and Duke would have been moved out West.  Auburn was the #1 overall seed.  Looks like they were avoiding SEC teams matching up as #1 and #2.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Kon Knueppel is really impressive. I was under the impression he was only a shooter, but i've been excited about his defensive effort and playmaking ability. I think he's a lock to go Top 10 in the draft.

I can?t see anyone beating Duke in the tournament. They are too big and talented.

Their two-way play is really impressive.  Still, four more wins.

I didn't make a bracket, but I went in thinking it would be Florida vs. the winner of Duke-Houston Final 4 (those two teams are in the same side of the bracket).

I still feel confident it'll be that. I'm leaning Duke > Houston in the Final 4, then Duke > Florida in the Championship Game

Duke vs Arizona about to tip off. Should be a good one.
