Lakers riding hot with Luka/LeBron while Boston hasn't lost a home game since last Friday. LAL's defense has been superb lately. This could be Austin Reaves and Gabe Vincent typa night. Unfortunately, I think the Celtics are due for a home loss and will drop this game by 10 and get swept for the season series.

Unfortunately? This is like Sparz 101 lol You literally always take the most optimistic view of every other team - particularly the Lakers - and the most pessimistic view of the Celtics.

Sounds like someone else who used to roam this site.

Beat LA.  Once & always.

Minus all the emojis! 😂😬👍

(If I?m remembering right that was him that used to do all the emojis. He was always a nice guy.)

I was thinking someone else but, now that you mention it, I do remember the emoji guy.  Haha.

Really hope Porzingis plays. If he does, that should be a major mismatch for us to exploit against Hayes/Len.

My gut feeling. I think the 3s are gonna be falling for Boston tonight and we beat them by 15  :)

We are currently riding high as evidenced by the win streak and believe we can come out of the west. Have to be fully healthy though to mantain the scrambling defense we?ve been using. Plus hopefully we get the best of Luka and Lebron during the playoffs

I wouldn't feel good about this game if I were LAL.

Hachimura has been a surprisingly important piece for them since the trade. Both offensively and defensively. Offensively because he is the only role player who isn't low volume / limited offensively and can put points up on the board. Defensively because his size, strength and quickness gives them that defensive versatility they have been using so well in their switching defense. He also gives them a small-ball center option when J Hayes and Co. are not playing well.

That small ball offensive option is particularly important to LAL's offense when teams cut off the easy rim rolls for J Hayes and/or are slowing down Luka and need to open up more space for him. Both things that top defensive teams like Boston are capable of doing.

Hachimura is like the ... release valve for their offense.
And a key component of their defense.

Saturday night game at Garden.

This crowd is going to be absolutely amped.  Arena will be buzzing.  I just feel like the Celtics are gonna ride the wave.   This is a statement game and they know it.

Those pics at the top with the team logos on a heels and a wine bottle in it. Are those high heels for wearing that have been reused to be a wine bottler holder? Or a wine bottle holder that is designed like high heels?

Those are wine bottle holders designed to look like high heels.  They were originally on Football Fanatics.  I don't see them there now so maybe they were discontinued on that site.

Good fun. Whoever came up with that idea. Great find.

Can't let guys like Reeves, Vanderbuilt, and the others beat you. Make James and Luka defend.

So what you're saying is, Jemison III will have 30 points and Alex Len will have a double-double?

Getting a little suspicious of this "illness"

Very, very sketchy with KP continuing to be out.  Very worrisome, especially for such a big/hyped game and after he said on Twitter he?d be playing.

What is wrong with KP? He was at the bench last game, what kind of illness does he have?? I mean if he had a stub toe or something I?d understand. But to put it out as just ?illness? is really concerning.
