Not really upset about this loss without Jrue and KP, but I'm really concerned that against Cleveland we always need Jrue, as Hauser is really exposed and clearly Joe doesn't trust anybody else.

Tatum clearly carried the team on his back, but that dunk that he didn't do, I think is a turning point. Wish he didn't lose his focus there.

Cleveland is the team to beat in the East.

At least we can wait until the ECF to worry about them.

They may end up with the best record but I like our chances if healthy. That?s a big IF. We just ran out of steam tonight. That plus the fact that I wanna see Garland and Mitchell do what they?re doing when the stakes are higher during the playoffs.

Right now I hope I'm wrong but I'd say CLE > BOS in 7, OKC > DEN in 6, and OKC > CLE in 7 in the Finals

I disagree. Cavs need Mitchell to carry them to win. Cs missed multiple starters in both Cav wins. Cs in 6

I disagree as well.  If we have Jrue and KP, there is more strength and size and savy defending out there.  Can Mitchell go for 40 every game against us in the playoffs in a 7 game series?   I don't think so.  But Garland and Mobley are both improved this year too.   Everyone will need to be playing their best def.

Celtics had 6 bench points. 6! Cavs had 33.

Deep bench sucks so much.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah, I know this is the NBA and the 3-point shot has changed the game (for the worse), but still blowing a 22-point lead used to be once in a season occurrence, not a weekly event in the league. That is what bothers me about this game, along with having to watch Joe Mazzulla's bad decisions.

Cavs are going to be an incredibly tough out in the playoffs. They?ve been a better team than us all season and wouldn?t be shocked if that continues in the playoffs. Something just slightly off with the Celtics this season?Cavs will lose in the finals if they do make it though.

They only got 4 shots. All by PP. Our bench was PP and Kornet. Joe coached a Thibs game.. Run everyone into the ground and lose in the 4th... No Cav played 38 minutes, and we had 4 guys by 38 or more. Only Jaylen was under that, and only because of foul trouble...

I still have to see it from them in the playoffs.

This game turned around as soon as Kornet sleepwalked his way into the game....Seriously, what happened to the tough version of him?....Complete softie tonight.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Sure.
I do remember a near 30 point triple double from Mitchell in game 2 in the garden last season in the playoffs in a blowout win for the Cavs..he then proceeded to get hurt and miss the rest of the series?lucky break for us.
They?re a force this season, nearly unbeatable and I?m done being in denial about it

Still confused why Hauser played in the 4th over PP.

Cavs are good. But they constantly need Mitchell to go for 35 plus and to carry them in the 4th quarter. In the 2 wins they have had the Cs have missed JB and White and now Holiday and KP. First win over the Cavs, the Cs did not have KP. When the Cs have been at full strength they handle the Cavs pretty easily.

Cs need to play well Sunday. I don't think the Nuggets are as good as they have been.

Boston is pretty much locked into the 2/3 spot. They seem to want to get through this regular season.

I am not going to discount the Cavs. They are a very good team. But in a series I still take Boston.

Bench blew that game. You gotta give yourself some runway against Mitchell. That dude is a killer in the 4th quarter. If the Cavs can keep it close late he?s a big problem.

Craig should have played more, but the other guys outside of Pritchard can?t generate offense.

Tonight was why Boston needed to add to the bench. Hauser is almost unplayable lately.

I think the Cs will end up the 3 seed. Only 2 games up on the Knicks now and Boston is mired in a losing streak.

NY will pass them here eventually. So I am prepared to play the Pistons in round 1.

Jarrett Allen was a -23 in only 24 minutes.
