Cleveland is the team to beat in the East.

At least we can wait until the ECF to worry about them.

Wow. What a sad joke.

Deserved win for CLE.

Tatum & Jaylen played great. D White and Horford only okay. Pritchard and Hauser did little. Kornet struggled. No depth behind them. Missed Porzingis and Jrue badly. It was not a good team performance.

Not concerned about the loss. I don't think it says much about a possible playoff match because we were without Porzingis and Jrue. This was a close win for CLE despite having that advantage. Not a great sign for them.

Also not a good sign that CLE struggled with the double big lineup of E Mobley and J Allen. They had to abandon it to complete their comeback in Q4. That would the biggest takeaway for me from this game. Yes, D Hunter gave them the small ball option but their main lineup still struggles against BOS.

I'm just dumbfounded that Hauser played 38 minutes tonight, even with Mitchell just torching him predictably all the 4th. Like what???

Why didn't Torrey Craig play for more than 3 minutes? Joe is so stubborn. Just plays 7 guys against ten, and we run out of steam at the end of the game. That and those two bogus calls on Brown ruined this game.

Even without two starters, C?s should have won this game. Officials really slanted things in the second half.

We were up 17 and then they called that ridiculous foul on JB. Killed the momentum and JB was forced to sit with 4 fouls. After that the Cavs were allowed to hit us constantly and were rewarded for their flops.

Yeah that foul flipped the switch on the whole game.  We were up around 15 or something when JB went to the bench.

I have to admit, I know almost nothing about Craig, is he at least a decent defender?

They barely beat us on a night missing two starters when every single non-Jay player (and the coach) was awful and we got an awful whistle. We're still clearly the better team.

Donovan Mitchell deserves to be in the back end of the MVP conservation.

It is a two horse race between Jokic and SGA now. I have Tatum in 3rd. 5 places on the ballot. I think the final 2 come down to Giannis and D Mitchell. Mitchell deserves to be there.

Tough loss, but we played without Holiday and KP.  Cleveland full strength.

Yep. If one of those two played, C?s take this game. Even with the officials.

They may end up with the best record but I like our chances if healthy. That?s a big IF. We just ran out of steam tonight. That plus the fact that I wanna see Garland and Mitchell do what they?re doing when the stakes are higher during the playoffs.

I think this game may break the Celtics in confidence. 25-3 lead to start the game and also squandered a 17-point 3rd quarter lead. Not a game you want to lose despite being shorthanded and the Jays going 46 and 37. Being shorthanded is part of the game, coach need to learn to adjust and deal with the adversaries. Extra humiliating to lose this at the Garden, but not surprising at a place where they've struggled a lot.

We really missed Jrue tonight.   Jrue can switch onto bigs much better than D White.

We're going to have better balance on both ends when (or if, hopefully) we're healthy.  Regular season games aren't that meaningful.  We'll have a better plan come playoff time.
