We got it as part of the Grant Williams sign-and-trade with Dallas.

It is pretty nice to have for where we are. It could give us two top 32 swings, or if we like a prospect in the early or mid 20s, a team might be willing to swap with us.

Yaxel Lendeborg - Older player but 6'9" averaged a double double. High motor and solid defender.

Danny Wolf - Kind of a Kelly Olynyk type. Needs to work on his D, He'd be a good fit in our offense... Still only 20 years old.

Ryan Kalkbrenner - A slow footed Kornet type. 23 years old. Might be able to play a few minutes here and there against some of the big centers in the league. Hopfully we don't lose Kornet this summer.

Noa Essengue - 6'9" and thin as a rail. 6'11" wingspan. Good defender but needs a jump shot. Since I was scouting him he has probably risen out of our range.

I?m a fan of both Yaxel and Wolf.  That said, Wolf seems likely to be drafted 10 or so spots higher than we pick.  Yaxel might be available, but requires a 1st round draft promise to remain in the draft, and I don?t know if we make those.  (He has an NIL deal with Michigan to transfer there for a year for a little more than what a rookie minimum salary is).

I?m not a Kallbrenner fan, and haven?t seen Essengue.

Probably going to develop on a team like Utah until we can steal him after his rookie deal.

My guess if the C's trade the #28 pick for financial reasons and because they might be able to get the same player they like at #32.

These highlights for Raynaud are pretty good. He has decent shooting numbers, good rebounding numbers, good size. If he's there at #32, I would be ok with that.

Yaxel, I like him and while it?s not his likely outcome I could see a path where he has a Siacam like ceiling. Two things that worry me. Story is that he barely played any highschool ball because of academic issues, also he is reportedly in line for a large NIL deal to transfer to Michigan. I?m not sure the money at the 28th pick is going to be enough. I suspect he lobbies for a top 20 promise or stays in college.

Danny Wolf, he has a very intriguing skill set but I doubt he is truly 7? (I?m guessing closer to 6?10 in shoes). I do worry how his skill set scales down into a roll. As a backup center he will not see the on ball usage he did in college. As an under the rim finisher He will need to play similar to KO in the NBA.

Kalkbrenner, he is second to Raynaud as my favorite Center for the Cs to target. He is huge and finishes around the rim at an elite level. Shot 79.5% at the rim with 105 dunk! To compare Wolf shot 63% at the rim with 8 dunks. He is a guy who I would be confident playing Kornets role on a long term cost controlled contract.

Noa, like you point out the hype train in behind him and I?ll be shocked if he falls past 20.

Yaxel?s NIL deal at Michigan is for 2nd round money.  He is expected to stay in the draft if he gets a 1st round guarantee, but he does need that guarantee.

Unfortunately for Johni Broome, his name was a popular topic Wednesday because of a vertical jump that was less than impressive. The Auburn star recorded a standing vertical leap of 24.5 inches during testing drills. ...

Several detractors on social media also pointed out that Broome's standing vertical was less than massive Florida defensive tackle Desmond Watson, who weighs 464 pounds and jumped 25 inches at the NFL Combine.

How bad is 24.5 inches in perspective?  Is it disqualifying for an NBA big?  I looked it up, and Queta jumped a 24.0!

Don't think so.  Focusing on single measurements is silly and standing vert doesn't rate in importance.  I'd be much more concerned that he shot 28% from 3 and 59% from the line as a senior.  Unless he's fundamentally (footwork, movement, strength, etc) a very good defender, I wouldn't draft him.

And by the way ...

Jokić was 19 years old and two months removed from being drafted in the second round by the Denver Nuggets. He had come to P3 to undergo an advanced athlete assessment. When he attempted a vertical leap, he jumped 17 inches. It was, according to Elliott, the worst vertical jump they had ever recorded.

I have heard good things about Cedric Coward.

Coward has all the tell tail signs of a draft sleeper.

I would love for Stevens to take a flyer on Rocco Zikarsky somewhere in the second round.

He would not be ready to play a competitive NBA game for a year or two but the upside is worth taking a risk.

Zikarsky is 7-3 (barefoot), with a standing reach of 9-6.

He is just extremely raw.
