Celtics

1. Tatum showing he hasn't hit his ceiling yet.

2. The ascension of Pritchard.

3. Banner ceremony

Around The League

1. Wemby: A Mega-Star who is actually likable and interesting.

2. Luka to the Lakers being one of the most shocking moments in sports history...I hate that he went to the Lakere but I love the Intrigue, speculation, and drama it has created over the past few weeks. I'm all about the theatrics of it all. I pretty much see the NBA as the WWE nowadays, and Luka just turned heel, haha.

3. I also really like the unpredictability this season. It's kind of boring when you can predict the standings pretty accurately in advance. I like it when teams like Cleveland, Houston, Detroit come out of the woodworks to surprise people with how good they are. And on the flip side of that coin, to have teams like Philadelphia and Phoenix surprise people with how bad they are.

  • On To Banner 19!
Besides some of the obvious like Opening Day and the Banner Ceremony, I'll say Pritchard and Kornet showing further growth and looking like beasts out there most nights. It's been very fun to see.

And while it kind of sucks for our own potential playoff run, I do like seeing more legit contenders around the league this year. The field has improved, and the West in particular could be an absolute bloodbath this Spring. I can't wait to see it all unfold (but I'd also appreciate if CLE/OKC both somehow get bounced before the ECF/WCF/Finals lol)

A lot of what has been said already.  Porzingis (knocking on wood) rounding into form is growing on me.  He's becoming much more of a steady part of the fabric and less of a freakish anomaly.  Really hoping we can just see the core stay healthy and play together for a stretch, so we can see just how dominant they can truly be again.
Yup

1. Opening night and banner night. How often do I get to see the Celtics raise the banner and open the season in fashion?

2. Big wins against the Knicks and Cavs

3. Payton Pritchard playing like a 6MOTY

Tatum improving his overall game with PP's play a close second.  Also, I love that there is absolutely no drama associated with this team.  They are incredibly boring and I mean that as a compliment.

Same. Pritchard has become my favorite player to watch. By far.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Tatum's continued developments in playmaking. Will really pay dividends in the playoffs.

PP obviously.

Road dominance.

Seeing them deal with adversity is always my most fun part of any season  :police:

2b.  The kids got to meet Pritchard at an event at Quincy Market today.  Awesome.  My daughter's favorite player.

Heads up:  They're doing their next event with KP on April 5.
