Pritchard sneaky has a triple double hunt going. 5/6/6 so far. And I'm sure he'll play quite a bit of garbage time too if this becomes a blowout
I really love this kid.
I swear Ainge and Brad Stevens are draft geniouses.
Tatum is an MVP candidate -draftred 3rd
Brown is an all-NBA player - drafted 3rd.
Marcus Smart, DPOTY - drafted 5th.
Rozier a perennial 20 PPG scorer - draftred 16th.
Payton Pritchard, front runner for 6mothy on a contender - drafted 26th
Rob Williams is an elite defenisve player, unfortunately hindered by injuriews - drafted 27th
Kelly Onynyk is very strong NBA vet who has been a quality rotation player fo years - draftred 16th
Avery Bradley- at his best a near 20 ppg scorer and elite defender - drafted 19th
Tony Allen, probably one of the best perimeter defenders in league history - dfrafted 25th
There are probably so many more cases that are slipping my mind. I'd say every one of those players (bar MAYBE Olynyk) has far exceeded their draft expectations. Most GMs / teams - even when picking in the lotter - really struggle to get quality players out of the draft. I mean, just look at Phylly and "the process" - how many lottery picks did they have over a 5 or so year stretch and they pretty much got ONE quality player out of it. Ainge and Brad between them have done unbelievably well.
