So Tatum is actually gonna finish this half with zero points lol

Tatum starting 0 for 4 has now become a regular sight. Does he not participate in the pregame warmup?

Hanging in there, Rockets are for real. Ime has done a good job with them, at least defensively. We just need to shoot a little better in the 2nd half

Definitely not Tatums best game but the Houston defense is locked in on him and without White, Hauser and Horford him being out there with Walsh Springer and Quetta/Tillman is making it tough spacing wise for him. Still has to work to get better shots than he has settled for and would like to see him on the block a bit more.

What's hilarious about Tatum's awful scoring half is that he's actually still having the most positive impact for the Celtics with a +11 to lead the team when we're -2 on the game. While not scoring, his gravity and playmaking is really helping setting up others to get good looks with 5 assists already.

But, yeah, time for him to start scoring and looking for shots beyond stepback threes. If they continue to collapse hard on you when penetrating, then just hit the open man.

Just turned the game on.

What's up with Tatum?  Just cold, or is Thompson shutting him down?

Poor shot selection, per usual.

He?s also being aggressively doubled by the Rockets? physical defense. At least he has 5 assists. Looks like Ime is gonna let anybody else beat them except JT.

Nice finish. But? I think it?s enough with give it to Pritchard or Tatum or JB and let them dribble around and take an awkward deep shot to end the quarter.  Really need to come up with something better.  It?s almost a given that they won?t score on a final possession.

Yep. And it's a smart strategy, especially when down White, Hauser, and Horford. Luckily for us, Tatum's playmaking has got good enough in recent years that it's not an automatic loss for us now when he's not scoring and can still contribute offensively in other ways.

Tillman, Walsh, and Springer are 0-4 on the 4 wide open corner threes they?ve been handed.  I get that we can?t expect much from this trio but you can?t miss all 4 wide open corner threes.  If they get other opportunities tonight, got to cash in.

I predict Tatum will score in the 2nd half.

Our bench tonight, other than Pritchard, Quetta, Tillman, Walsh, and Springer.  Summer league level (other than Pritchard).

This Brooks stuff is ridiculous. Already a career high from 3. And he's probably the most annoying player in the league, too.

Kornet is more of a threat on offense than Tatum, what the hell??

I at least like seeing more mid-range shot attempts.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
