15 for 52 from 3.  Good job.  Good effort.

Joe in the presser (probably): "The process looked good. Some nights they just don't go in, and unfortunately that's been the past six weeks for us. Eventually they'll go in, or we'll die trying." Or some other crazy non-sense like that.

Joe plays the starters into the ground on the second night of a back to back. Just crap coaching.

I still have no idea why Jrue passed up a lay up to go up 5 and then threw it away. Just middle school stuff.

I am just about done with this team. They are lazy. They are stupid. Play with no heart and no pride.

Stay out west and never come back losers.

Thought they played with plenty of heart and pride?they just aren?t great and not everything is going there way this season?not surprised

For most of the first half they played with no heart or effort. They are lazy and have no push back when things get tough

They?re simply not that good right now and not everything is going their way like it did last season and Jayson Tatum still hasn?t taken that mvp leap like they desperately needed

They don't play hard and act entitled. Alternating wins and losses. Thinking they can just make the playoffs and flip a switch is not something that you should count on.

Agreed. I?m certainly not counting on it I ve pretty much already accepted it?s not there year so any thing positive that does happen and they do have a miracle run it?s all gravy

Hopefully he calls out his own trash ATO plays, and his stupid decision to play Queta in the OT when he was killing us in PnR defense.  Terrible coaching this game.

When the starters started ignoring PP at the 4 minute mark of the 4th quarter we saw this coming.

Is there any locker room issue??

I'm starting to view the loss of Ime as yet another sign that the Celtics curse that started in 1986 with the death of Len Bias continues.
Even when the franchise fights through to become serious contenders again, even winning a title in '08 and '24, we are denied multiple titles as a direct result of bad luck ........... the Ime debacle, the Garnett knee injury and horrific finals game 7, 4th quarter in 2010. Now we are stuck with this incompetent head coach for a few seasons because he was fortunate to win a title last year with a stacked team and a favorable path. Of course, we don't have to be stuck, but Brad won't fire this idiot until the team totally falls apart.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

This video perfectly sums it up (replace "football club" with Boston Celtics)

this was a bad bad bad loss like we looked like a lottery team trying to give away a game because we are tanking.

Exactly. He played 23 minutes last night. He even said he was hopeful to play this game.

On a side note, I don't think any team will want to play Atlanta early on in the playoffs. They are no slouches, in fact they've beaten CLE and BOS each two times.

There's a voice in my head that thinks we need a real point guard.  Somebody with the on-ball speed and quickness to penetrate at a higher level than our current roster is consistently capable of.  It thinks that our transition to big, switchy defensive guards has left a weakness to strong ball pressure at the other end that teams have begun to key in on.  They need to be elite defensively in order to overcome that weakness.  But the defense hasn't been elite... or even particularly close to it.

I'm not sure I completely believe that voice yet.  But it IS there, and losses like this make it a little bit louder.
