How does he not have a nickname? I like professor P, but it doesn?t sound like anything has stuck.

PP works for me.

P-Rabbit works for me.

Pritchard is such a beast. In tonight?s win against Toronto he had 33pts/10ast/7rebs with only 1 TO. Payton went 13-24 from the field and 4-9 from 3pt. Other than Brunson, is there a better 6?1 guard in the NBA?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Pritchard's AST:TOV ratio is crazy. 5.2apg versus 1.1 turnovers. Pretty much a 5:1 AST:TOV. Ridiculous.

He is a big part of the reason why Boston leads the league in fewest turnovers which is a big part of the team's offensive success (4th in off eff).

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Pritchard is the best contract in the NBA. He is owed about 23 million for this season and the next two. His cap hit each season is 7.2, 7.7 and 8.3.

I think a majority of the league would think hard about 1 year for 23...let alone 3 seasons.

Its absurd.

I've also loved watching him work on his game every year. The dedication to his craft is remarkable

Good point. Low turnovers isn't a "sexy" stat, but securing and winning possessions is a key part of a strong basketball team.

He was on fire last night.  it was fun to watch.  He has added a short/mid range fade-away to his repertoire.  He must be watching Jaylen Brown and thinking, I can do that too.

But 6 for 9 from 3 and 4 for 5 from 2 is a pretty efficient night.  Add in 4 for 4 from FT line.  Very nice.

He's started 48 games this season - I guess that's too many to be considered for another 6MOY award  :'(

In that case, the leagues best 6th man will not win the award.

It is a joy to watch him most every night.   He really is the David beating Goliath night in and night out.
