Remember when Miami used to haunt us with the zone defense schemes?

Well with the addition of Porzingis and even some other shooters, it's now toast lol. Doesn't work.

Pritchard scorching them tonight as well now

Wonder how many times Drew is going to mention that Duncan Robinson is from Maine. Think we are at 3 already.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Good finish by JB through the uncalled foul.

PP is in the building!

And Tillman is sloow footed.
That?s the thing. Tillman is so slow. Herro just crossed him over quite easily

It's a shame. I thought he could honestly be a perfect Horford role-player replacement down the road and he has the tools to be that guy. And he was working on open 3s during the offseason and preseason as well. But idk.
Yeah, and being slow footed is not something that can be fixed. Sorry, but Queta has more upside.

Agreed. It's painfull to watch everybody drives by Tillman easily.

General question: If you are watching on NBCSB, what is that series of bars below the score for each team? It?s not number of fouls. Anyone know? Just decoration?

Heck of a quarter by the C's.  Interesting that we've gone 10 deep this game.  Our deep bench players are not producing, but at least we're winning with most of them while they're on the floor.

Timeouts. I think.

You mean to tell me the whole time the answer to combatting Bam Adebayo was... Kornet!?

I need JB to be quicker to recognize that the end-of-quarter action isn't generating anything.  If he makes his decision a second earlier, he still has time to drive and Bam can't overplay the desperation three.

I'd like to know the 3pt FG% on our last possessions at the end of quarters.  It's gotta be sub 25%.  They are just bad possessions.  Could be running an action sooner and generating a better look.

How about the Celtics defense!!!!

Oh and Kornet has 4 blocks in the 1st half.

This isn't the first time Bam has struggled with him.  Bam is a good player but he's only 6'9" and he doesn't have a deep offensive bag.  Kornet's size and positional defense forces him into a lot of awkward contested twos because he just doesn't have the shot-creating skill to generate better consistently.

Yeah I just find it funny that with everyone we have/had, Timelord, Horford, Porzingis, Kanter... it's Kornet who seems to have the most success against him

Horford owns Embiid/Giannis though
