Haha, doesn't Mobley know how slow Kornet is?

He had him beat with his quickness, then faked, went bakwards, and Kornet was so slow and he hadn't even caught up yet so he was right there waiting for Mobley. Just go quick young fella. Kornet is a statue. Don't overcomplicate things.

Peterson has been good defensively.  Moves his feet, has been in the right position most of the time.

He's even holding his own against Garland, which is... not easy to do.  Pleasantly surprised by his defensive ability.

Strong play by the Cs in the 3rd with excellent defense and JT looking good.

Would've been nice to add another bucket or two in those last few possessions to stem the inevitable non-Tatum minutes slide, but hard to complain about that quarter.

Time for Jrue to step up.  We need some good possessions with Tatum taking a breather.

Nothing wrong with playing just good defense with moderate effort for the 1st half and then really tightening the screws with increased energy at some point in the 2nd half to win games. The 70's Celtics were great at that - they would put the clamps on the opponent come the 4th quarter and everyone knew it was coming. What they did not do that this current team does too often is play weak defense with minimum effort through long stretches of games. We are so good defensively when we are focused. Just need to eliminate those big lulls in effort.
