BIG lineup again to start. Really solid lineup despite two of their top three players out.
Last game, this is how the big rotation worked out:
Horford + Kornet 19 min +6
Just Kornet 10 min +2
Horford + Queta 8 min -2
Just Queta 7 min +5
Just Tillman 3 min -1
There is some rounding but that +10 for the total game. Kornet + Horford was great and Queta alone was great. Tillman has not played much the last couple of games. Not sure what is going on with that. On the seasaon, Tillman seems to pair best with Horford or Queta:
Tillman + Horford +16
Tillman + Queta +15
Tillman + Kornet -11
Without Brown in the line up, it seems we would need more of Tatum as a wing and less one big where Tatum is playing the second big.
Horford + Kornet 16 min
Horford + Tillman 12 min
Just Queta 12 min
Just Kornet 8 min
No Horford + Queta (-3 on the season) and no just Tillman (+5 on season is not bad but I don't like Tillman as the single big). Play Horford less than 28 min if we build a big lead.
Horford and Kornet ended up not being on the court together at all but Horford and Queta logged 19 minutes together and were +19 (complete opposite of what I predicted). Horford and Tillman logged 12 min together for +4. For all of Kornet's 15 min, he was the only big.
Kornet was -8 in one 2 minute stretch on the court with Pritchard, White, Holiday, and Hauser. I have feeling that the coaching staff is just trying a bunch of things but this line up is just too small. Kornet + 3 guards and a small wing makes no sense.
Really surprised/impressed with the progress by Queta. He is giving the team solid rotation minutes. Queta is +49 in 97 minutes to Kornet +31 in 149 minutes. The team is doing better with Queta on the floor over Kornet (although both have been fine). Per36, Queta has more points, Rebs, and fouls than Kornet but Kornet leads in blocks, steals, and assists. Queta leads the team in +/- per36 at +18.3 (Kornet +7.5 per36)
