Filthy quarter.  Defense tightened in a bit and the Hawks have nothing for them at the other end.

Q is leading the team with a +21

edit...+27

I just love the fact that he loves to rebound.

Man, this type of offense, when run with a bunch of selfless players, is hard to stop.

One of Tatum's best ever halves - 26 points on 9-13 (6-10 from 3) shooting with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, only 1 TO and a + 21.

We started off taking too many *bad* threes. The offense really took off early into the third once the ball movement picked up and we started mixing in the threes with more penetration and fastbreak points. Still took a ton of threes, but they were much better quality threes.

JT going off didn't hurt either haha

Being down both KP and JB potentially for an extended period of time is going to move people up the pecking order that are not ready i feel. And we will overuse Tatum

What a terrible take. Wish i could take away a Tommy point from myself.

Things completely changed in the 2nd quarter when Queta subbed back in for Kornet.  Great that we only held ATL to 23 points that quarter after a really bad start.

So good.

Without Brown and KP this team is pretty dang good.  Loving the big depth - and going to get a massive upgrade in a month or so.

I was a little surprised when Joe pulled Queta so quickly in the first quarter - at the 7 minute mark iirc.  His defensive positioning can be, uh, adventurous... but he impacts the glass more than our other bigs and his willingness to run the floor was creating a lot of problems for a Hawks team that appeared uninterested in doing the same.

Keep playing him.  I think we have something in this guy.  Just keep teaching him on defense.

Queta couldn't handle this type of pass 3 times in this game. Is it Queta or the guard's issue?
