If you have DVR, rewind a bit and watch Horford hand the ball to a kid in the front row before putting it back in play. Made that kid?s night.

Watching TV without a DVR would be like living in a cave.

Just a crazy response to ring night. Should put a damper on all the overhyped Knicks talk.

And this is even without KP!

I LOVE how Joe gets upset at the refs for every defensive three seconds call, both last year and also tonight.

I am really impressed by the way we came out this quarter, I was admittedly expecting a letdown (though it is still early).

Nice to see Tatum shooting well.
I have a little fear in the back of my mind that he could unintentionally allow JB's duo playoff MVP's influence him and start forcing his offense to maybe chase a scoring title and League MVP award. He sure doesn't seem to be a selfish player and he has improved at involving his teammates, but you never know what gets in these guys heads. I'd like to see the opposite, a slight decrease in his scoring and an increase in assists and offensive rebounding. Adjust his game with the ONLY priority being to win games and win titles. Wanna be remembered as a legend ? Win titles in Boston and hang your number up there next to those banners.

I'll take increase in scoring along with increase in assists...tonight 6 so far.
and only 1 turnover for brown. that is an improvement as well.

so far so wonderful. only one half of game one, but i like how the celtics are playing.

boy, posting here is almost impossible.

My scenario includes an increase in teammates' scoring.

Man, KAT is getting exposed defensively. I bet Thibs is just crapping his pants over there seeing the huge liability he has to cover for now.

Also - remember all the talk about the perimeter defense of the Knicks and how OG and Bridges would "shut down" the Jays  ;D Bridges looks like he has no chance against the much bigger Tatum.

how much did the knicks give up to get bridges?

yeah, the knicks (and almost every nba team) will have a hard, hard time matching up with the celtics on both offense and defense.

My God JT looks so good and confident in his shot.

If this improvement in his shot is sustainable, he's going to be dang near unstoppable with the other improvements in his game. His vision and passing are just so on point now, and the elite surrounding cast will absolutely capitalize on it.
