Larry Nance Jr. thinks so:

https://www.si.com/fannation/nba/fastbreak/9-year-nba-veteran-nance-makes-bold-statement-about-celtics-star-jrue-holiday

Interesting stats from the article:

Quote
Only players in NBA history who match or exceed all of Jrue Holiday?s career totals for regular and postseason points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks:

Kobe Bryant
Clyde Drexler
James Harden
LeBron James
Scottie Pippen

What do you think?

2x All-Star, 6x All-Defense, 2x Champion, 2x Gold Medalist

I'm not sure that he'll have the numbers, but I'd take Jrue ahead of any number of score-first PGs.

I love him but 2x all star seems really low for hall of fame. If he made one more all star game and one more chip it would be a more compelling case. Basketballl reference has him at 1% I believe

Definitely. 2x champ, generational defender, incredible longevity

Unfortunately these threads always devolve into people complaining about how easy but is for players to make the HOF now a days. Not sure why they care so much but OK.

After realizing that 1x All-Star, 0x Champion Vlade Divac is in there, I'm all-in on Jrue.  Vlade has an international resume, but so does Jrue.

I mean divac is in their for his international contributions including being a pioneer in internationalizing the game. I don?t think holiday being a secondary player in the Olympics/fiva is comparable to that.

If he does, he'll be one of those guys who makes it 20-30 years after the fact like Mo Cheeks, Michael Cooper, Dennis Johnson, Sidney Moncrief, Jamaal Wilkes, etc.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Sure, Vlade has had a better international career, and Jrue has been significantly better and more successful as a pro.

But, there are other 1x All-Stars in the HOF.  Calvin Murphy and Bill Bradley, for instance.  KC Jones and Frank Ramsey never were All-Stars.  22 players are in the HOF will 2 or fewer All-Star selections.

Jrue is better than almost all of them.

2X gold medalist seals the deal. but why not try to put another nba championship on there while we're at it.

I think those are better points of comparison than divac. I don?t know as much about a lot of those guys career so it is a bit harder for me to comment on them.

Yes, hopefully the Celtics will get another assist for him this year. We will gladly help him pad his stats to get in!

Yes.

The 2nd title put him over the top. I wouldn't have had him in the HoF without it.

I think he is so universally respected at this point that he probably get get in.  His numbers are never going to be up to par with your typical no brainer HOF player, but he just does so much to contribute to winning and incredibly likable on top of it all.
Yup

Agreed that it's not a great comparison - but I do think Holiday's got a decent shot at the HOF, particularly if the Celtics repeat.
"...unceasingly we are bombarded with pseudo-realities manufactured by very sophisticated people using very sophisticated electronic mechanisms. I do not distrust their motives; I distrust their power. They have a lot of it."
