Curious why you are so high on Cleveland? I like Mitchell and Garland is solid, but they don?t really have that 3rd scorer. Feel like they need a Jeremi Grant type wing player to be a top team in the East.

Also, how much of an impact do you think the loss of KCP will have on Denver. Braun is taking his spot?

I think Denver is going to come out  to prove a point. I expect them to have some 20-2 type streak early in the year and just coast.

Cleveland is a very deep team.  I think they will win 55 games or so which should be good enough for the 2 seed.  I don't think they win a playoff series against any of the other top 5 teams I have, but expect a strong regular season under Atkinson.  As for the 3rd scorer, I expect Mobley to jump up a bit. That is the whole reason they went with Atkinson i.e. to unlock Mobley.  And he showed against Boston he has a very bright future.

East: Wouldn?t be surprise see New York on top..Embiid injuries history & Bucks older just doesn?t concern me..Cleveland could be in ECF again..Last 5 eastern teams be fighting for worst record

West: Dallas with full year of PJ & Gafford with Klay now are my favorite..Denver bench is so weak..Leonard, Beal & Zion won?t stay healthy..Houston are my sleeper team?Lakers are a mess thanks to LeBron

Celtics over Dallas again 😁 but the health of Porzingis is the key if we can win #19

Utah and Portland will be at the foot of the table. I think Sacramento and San Antonio fall short of a play-in spot. They are a bit weaker than the rest despite being decent teams. The West is just so strong. From there, I could go in just about any order 5-11. I am confident in the top 4 having separation from the pack but nobody else.

I am high on Houston having a big season because they have more depth than some others. They are less reliant on a singular player like LAC, LAL or PHO who have large injury risk. I can see them topping out this group like Sacramento did 2 years ago when they finished 2nd or 3rd in the West.

Zach Edey's strong SL showing has me more optimistic on the Grizzlies. They have been a strong regular season team in the past. I like their odds of being so again this year.

Edit: Dropped LAL down from 8th to 11th.

You don?t think the Kings will be any better with DeRozan? Fox, Huerter, DeRozan, Murray, Sabonis looks pretty good. Well, on paper at least.

Nope. Swapping DeRozan for H Barnes is a wash for me.

I actually like Barnes better than DeRozan on that team

Finals: Boston > Oklahoma City

I think Memphis will rebound a bit assuming they can stay healthy and Morant stays out of trouble. Pistons and Spurs also take a step up with their young talent and make the play-in. I think GSW misses the playoffs, and I also think the Lakers have another sort of "drama-filled" season which ends in a mediocre play-in berth (and early exit). I feel the Cavs will slip a bit while the Pacers are a Top-4 team this season (they did play us the toughest last postseason and I think they'll continue to make strides). Miami I think really slipped in the East this offseason compared to the others, but because there are a handful of hideous teams in the bottom of the East they probably still should make it in the play-in as a 7 or 8 seed.

I would've nailed the Detroit bet but, otherwise, this is a nice reminder that I should never bet on sports.
