This Bronny saga is a joke. It's all led by Lebron and ESPN (of course) but seriously, I feel ESPN is covering Bronny James more than the actual top picks in this year's Draft. Also apparently he's turning down workouts with teams. He's really *that* guy?? Sorry but it's this kind of stuff that makes me hope he fails in the NBA, it's all nepotism at its finest.

I expect him to go #55 to the Lakers. I think all the talk about the Suns and other teams being interested is just more of the national media hyping him up. During the actual draft no one will take him higher than 55 and Lakers will take him just to make Lebron happy.

Be honest, if Lebron decided to leave LAL right now, announced it and everyone knew he was an open Free Agent, do the Lakers still consider Bronny James as a draft pick?

Rich Paul is trying to create a market for him:  https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/40387379/agent-says-limited-nba-draft-workouts-bronny-james-design

Really just any big that could conceivably shoot and not be killed defensively. DaRon or Filipowksi are both intriguing, Tyler Smith is another interesting option tho probably a little more raw than those guys.

I wish Smith could rebound better.

I like Baylor Scheierman but he needs to up his defensive skills. He's NBA ready on offense.

Pelicans have reportedly offered Ingram and their draft pick for Garland. Cavs haven't been interested but that would be an interesting trade for Cavs if Ingram could actually stay healthy. The wing scorer they desperately need and not a total sieve defensively.  Ingram staying healthy is just such a long shot I get why the Cavs wouldn't be interested in that.

That doesn't makes sense for NOP to me (I know it is just a rumor).  Garland is very much like McCollum.  They would be creating the same problem for themselves that they would be solving for CLE.  And a draft pick too?  No, I don't see this one.  NOP is way better off keeping Ingram and the pick, unless they are planning to totally blow it up and move on from Zion too (and if you are going to do that, why give away a decent draft pick?).

Possible Hauser replacement if they can't resign Hauser.  If they offer an extension to Hauser and his team declines do you trade him?  If so what kind of pick could the C's get?

that is how Rich Paul operates with 2nd round or late 1st round talent. He has for years and has had great success doing that getting his clients guaranteed deals, playing time, and other things atypical for late 2nd round picks.  He is a really good agent, probably the best in the sport.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Garland is a lot healthier than Ingram and he is better than McCollom who is old and doesn't have much time left anyway

Hauser is more of a forward and Scheierman is more of a big guard. Like I always say you can't have too much shooting.

The offseason last year was key to the Celtics championship, not just the moves Stevens made, but the mistakes other GMs made like Denver losing key bench players who they never replaced and Milwaukee trading Holliday for Lillard. Keeping our top 8 guys will be key to our chances to repeat. Hauser was great for us and was underrated on defense. Tillman was a key contributor when Porzingis was down. We don?t need any major moves but we need to keep and possibly add to our bench

I would love for DaRon Holmes II or Kyle Filipowski to fall to 30 and for Boston to take one.
These are the two guys i've noticed as well.

Is Holmes the one Denver is rumored to have given a promise to?  He was on my wish list until I read that.

Reports coming out of Miami that Butler is going to be traded.

If so, I think the Cavs should be making calls

Butler, Rozier

for

Garland, LeVert, Niang, Jerome

Heat get a young star in Garland while the Cavs go for a title.

Rozier, Mitchell, Butler, Mobley, Allen with Wade, Okoro, Strus. That is a team that could challenge the Celtics in the East (still would favor Boston, but wouldn't want to fa e that team).

Heat start restocking with Garland adding to Bam and Herro (along with Jaquez, Jovic, Martin, LeVert). May take a slight step back in near term, but set up better long term with Garland as a legit young star going forward.

I look forward to another night of living and dying by whether the Celtics draft a player that I had never heard of until that night.

I've heard alot of mixed things regarding Filipowski's draft position. Some have him going late teens, others have him making it to pick 31 or 32.

Holmes should be in our ball park, but he allegedly has a promise from Denver (I can't remember where I saw that tbh.)

I also like Scheierman from Creighton. 6'6 without shoes senior lefty who shot 38% from 3 on 8 attempts a game.  Avergaed 18.5/9reb/4 assists (to 2.2 TO). The big question with him is if he can athletically hold up in the NBA. Some scouts think he could be serviceable on d, others think he can't do it.

If the bigs were gone, and Scheierman is on the board, I'm on board. Great long term Hauser insurance (although he is more of a 2/3 where Hauser seems like a 3/4.)
