Unfortunately this group does nothing easy and makes it as hard as they can on their fans.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Last game I went to North Station and saw the game in the area. Had the best possible case (free parking, no traffic, didn't have to wait in line and no $50 cover charge, good spot by the TV, close to the bartenders) with the exception of the result. This time I staying since my son wants to watch his first full complete game. Either way we are making memories. LET'S GO CELTICS!!!

Officials tonight:

Zach Zarba
John Goble
Bill Kennedy

Watch out for those swing calls from Zarba that influences the game

remember that HEAT game last ECF or was it 2022? anyway he controlled the whole game where as soon as we started a run he shut it down. he ruined the game.

His circus call in 2022 Game 3 East Semis vs Bucks cost us that game. Otherwise we would've been up 3-1 heading back to Boston for Game 5.

C's have been really good in Game 5s at home going back to the ECF's last season.

Really need one of those round 1 or round 2 game 5's we saw this season.

Everything right there for the Celtics. At home. Trophy in the building. Embarrassed the last game.

If they cannot come out focused and with energy then I am not sure they will ever.

Enough of all the doom and gloom.   Our team is freaking good, and we are going to bounce back from that game 4 monstrosity.
Just bring the def intensity that we showed in the previous games, and that will reset everything.   Silence all the critics once and for all Celtics!!!!!

LETS GO!!!!!

My sister and I are soon going to head to grab dinner near TD Garden and then attend the game tonight.

I will occasionally post here tonight but hopefully in about 7 hours we will all be celebrating. Godspeed to all  :)

It is understandable that everyone is on edge for this game after what we had to watch last game.  But we are the favorite at -6.5.  Porzingis being out or even limited does equalize things.  I wonder what the spread would be if Porzingis was playing?  I don't dare make any kind of prediction.

My routine is I have a specific shirt and hat that I wear.  I have a Vermont made craft DIPA (usually Heady Topper) that I start drinking at exactly 8:30.   I have missed a couple of playoff games and for a couple of the games, I was out of Heady Topper but I think Game 4 was the first time my routine resulted in a loss.  So I am going to try a different DIPA tonight (still a high end Vermont Craft though).  Tribute DIPA is my #2 and hasn't lost yet.

I am doing my part by making tactical adjustments based on the results of Game 4.  Let's hope the Celtics are making tactical adjustments also.  Hunt Luka on every possession.  Make him defend.  Make him switch.  Throw picks at him on the ball and off the ball.  Whoever he takes has to keep moving.  Don't ever let him stop moving on defense.  And when you set a pick, poke him in the ribs a little.
