I tip my hat to Tillman for his play last night. Where are are all the people that kept telling me Tillman couldn't play in the playoffs?

Joe said post game he used Tillman because he played the same defensive scheme they used vs the Mavs when he was with Memphis.

I've been touting that all series. Tillman can stay in front of all the Mavs players and he's so solid. I love him matched up on Luka.

They both need to work on their shots but I'm excited to see what we can do with a year of Tillman and Springer... They should each be putting up 500 3s a day after the season ends with a good shooting coach!

I've been a Tillman fan from the very beginning. Dude is built for playoff basketball. Glad he's had a few moments to really make a difference. If he can ever get some consistency with that corner 3, then he could be really valuable moving forward.

Is Tillman even going to be back next year?

I like him, glad he's on the team, but he's also a free agent.  At best he's the 3rd string center on this squad.  He has more DNP-CDs than games played this playoffs.

With an expensive top half of the roster like the C's have, it really forces you to fill out the back half of the roster with a bunch of minimum contracts.

I think there will be a lot of teams offering Tillman both more money and minutes come this summer.

Kornet too, I wonder if he'll be back, he had a pretty good season for a 3rd string center.  Sometime might offer him something more than the minimum.

Maybe one of our resident cap experts can weigh in.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I believe 2 of Hauser/Kornet/Tillman are gonna be cap casualties in the next 1-2 years, assuming we also pay D-White. So the decision is probably on Brad and the front office. Personally, I think I'd prefer to keep Tillman. Hauser might get a decent-sized contract somewhere else, though admittedly his value has probably dropped a bit from this playoff run. Kornet's shown strides and improvement but Tillman is just better suited for playoff basketball which you have to also factor in.

I think Tillman and Queta can turn into very good role players for us in the frontcourt for years to come.

He didn't look that good at the very start of the game, but he settled in quite well afterwards. I didn't like how he looked in our previous series, but if this is what he's going to give us in this series I'm very much happy with it.

There's some adjustments to be made with the spacing offensively, but didn't seem to be much of an issue overall, and that corner 3 he made was fun as heck to watch.

I really want Tillman back next year. I think his role would be much bigger next year than it has been this season with a training camp and some continuity behind him.

If next year's main bigs are Al and KP again, we will certainly need more insurance.

I just realized this dude is 25. for some reason I thought he was a vet journeyman in his 30's. guess he's a mature 25 years old.

We got Tillman for the Lukas, Butlers, and Giannis of the league.  A solid defender that can give us good minutes and 6 fouls in the playoffs.

Very happy for him for his game 3 performance.  He was huge.  I'm glad Joe realized he was a better choice than Kornet.  His ability to switch is critical.

I was honestly shocked when he was first off the bench and not Kornet. after watching Kornet all playoffs I for sure thought he would be the one Joe would go to.

but credit to him for realizing Tillman was the better matchup. and credit to Tillman for coming into a finals game and guarding Luka well

He does give a more mature impression.  I remember seeing him interviewed soon after joining the team and thinking "this guy is an adult."  In addition to his Horford-like appearance on the court, he has a Horford-like professional demeanor.

Tillman comes from the Western conference and has guarded Luka well in the past. Luka has to work harder against big bodies that can move their feet.

In the post-game, Joe actually stated that Tillman?s experience in the WC was the reason he inserted him.
