BREAKING: The Falcons are expected to cut Kirk Cousins before his $10 million roster bonus is due March 17, per @AdamSchefter. Cousins signed a four-year, $180 million contract that included $100 million guaranteed with Atlanta this offseason.

Sheesh, what was that organization doing during the offseason. Gave Kirk that fat contract and drafted Bo Nix? Kirk could make it to the HoF in contracts lol.

They drafted Penix.

But honestly Cousins' agent deserves some sort of award. Idk how Cousins has managed to get these insane contracts, and even the franchise tags he used to play on for premium money. Wow.

My bad, mixed him up with Penix Jr  ;D

Yeah. At first I thought Kirk was balling it early in the season...500+ yards in that one game? Now they scrambling to try and cut him before his bonus kicks in

He was, but truth be told I feel like that's who Cousins is. He tends to fade later in the year and doesn't have much playoff success. I could be wrong but I think in his whole career he's only played 6 playoff games? For a guy who statistically does well it's surprising.

This Texans team just screams "one and done" in the playoffs.

I love Stroud but idk what's happened, their team is pretty good and so is Stroud still, but he just didn't take that extra step and the team has also underperformed a bit. They've had some injuries but it's not like their entire roster is ravaged by it.

2nd quarter 8:00 mark Mahomes launches a forward pass and lost the football as his arm was hit by a defender. Tuck Rule applied?

But the hater in me says call should've been a fumble and returned for Texans TD. Instead, refs overturn the call and even throws a flag 3 seconds after Texans pick up the supposed fumbled ball for a hit to the helmet on Mahomes. Instead of 3rd and 10 it's automatic first down for KC smh.

NFL usual rigging games for Mahomes.

I didn't see the game, but I looked the play up on YouTube.

That seems consistent with how those plays are always called.

Didn't like the late flag though; should've been a 3rd and 10 lol. But I'm biased too so nah the refs saved him lolol. If that was someone like Anthony Richardson or Mac Jones, that flag don't come flying in

I'll add the Steelers to that, sort of. I mean sure, they could win their wild card game at home, but either way I expect them to get shredded against KC/BUF. But if they play LAC in the wild card round, or BAL, I would pick LAC/BAL to win that game. I've always felt the Steelers were a pretender.

Man today's slate of games is depressing. Vikings-Seahawks and Eagles-Commanders are the only good matchups. Niners-Dolphins would be if they were in the playoffs but both will likely miss anyways.
