Finals Game 3 MVP Poll: BOS 106 DAL 99

Some moments of absolute perfection in that 3rd quarter tonight.  It got a little hairy, but there's no such thing as a bad Finals win! They took everything Dallas had and came up a win away from a title.

I'm going to split up my points 4 ways, just because I want to give two bench guys some props, but really I'd give Brown top status in this one for huge buckets in the 3nd half and Tatum just a shade behind for being assertive and filling up the score sheet.  Huge props to Hauser for coming up hot and helping keep the Celts close when Dallas started out on fire.  Solid effort on D too.   And Tillman for stepping up big time in his first Finals minutes.  He was a rock on the defensive end and the 3 made me very happy!

Ha that was exactly mine, too. Thought both Hauser and Tillman deserved one given their limited roles, with the Jays sharing two apiece.

Funny.  I read somewhere the Celtics are better when he?s on the bench and that he doesn?t contribute to them winning.

I?m impressed with Hauser?s defense, not elite but he generally stays in front of his man. He is also a pretty good rebounder. He?s earned his rotation spot.

I think Hauser is starter material. There are a lot of teams that could use a shooter of his caliber with adequate defense / rebounding at SF in their starting lineup.
