There was a lot of talk that the C's may struggle early as they adjust to better competition.

That was not correct.

It was such a non-sense narrative from the get-go.

1) The KP absence was completely ignored the entire time. Missing a major starting piece for us, yet we still went 12-2.

2) Dallas' play/path was incredibly overrated. LAC was without Kawhi almost the entire time, OKC is like the youngest/most inexperienced higher level playoff team ever, and Minny was also inexperienced, flawed offensively, and clearly tired from the Dallas series.

What we're just seeing right now is what has been true all year - Boston is and has been a much better team than Dallas all along. The "not challenged" narrative was hooey from the get-go.
